This is a great umbrella.Size: This umbrella is big enough for two to walk side by side without getting wet, and plenty big for one person. Folded up its usable as a walking stick. Umbrellas are measured along the cloth, so I measured tip to tip at 54"Features: I go to work in the dark rain in the winter so the reflective band was a big plus. There is a push button to trigger a spring opening, which I didn't care about, and a carrying bag.Quality Impressions: The reflective band works very well. Easily visible in a car's headlights. The spars are thick and sturdy, I think they are fiberglass. The spring mechanism is smooth and the button does not stick when pressed. The slide mechanism is plastic, but appears well designed and beefy enough for years of use. The handle is covered in firm foam, pleasing to the touch. The spar tips appear shatterproof too.Use: When snapped closed, the umbrella slides easily in or out of its carrying bag. Opening with the spring mechanism is quick. The foam handle makes holding the umbrella slightly more comfortable. It seems pretty wind proof, but there's been no wind to test that. Closing is not difficult.Cons:None really. It's not vented, not that it needs to be. My manual opening golf umbrellas have a small cup to gather the spar tips when closed. This umbrella does not, perhaps due to the self opening ability.I purchased two and I expect to use them many years.

These umbrellas rust after about 3-4 uses! I won't be able to return them as well because, the day after I am writing this the return window closes and I am unable to make it to the drop off location. So I will now have to start a whole thing with amazon about this to get my money back. Avoid this huge hassle and buy somewhere else, I urge you!

I have used it 2x so far. I keep it in my car, so when I take my grandson for a walk it’s handy. It covers both of us. The color is as shown. It also has a reflective strip on it.I just wish that there was a way to attach the umbrella to the cheap stroller I bought. I bought a do-hinky, from Amazon, that’s suppose to hold an umbrella, but that turned out to be a piece of junk. For now I have to juggle the umbrella while pushing the cheap stroller.

Really nice for the money. Would have preferred an upgrade of the foam handle to something better but for the price I really can't complain. I've needed a larger size umbrella for a long time.

I love this umbrella. It is well made & I expect it to last for years. I'm not a golfer so that's not my reason for purchase. I will use it in the summer when there is hot sun outside to protect my face, neck & parts of my arms when I take my little dog out for a walk.

Bought this to replace a lost umbrella. Have used this twice and it has worked like a charm. Only thing is; I wish I bought a little larger one. My last umbrella had lots of room for two people; and then some. This will fit two people; but not much more room. Have not used at night; so can not comment on the reflective tape.

nothing about these is what I would consider compact. They are large and bulky and weighty, and one broke on our first days use with a gust of wind that came through.

Generous size; enough to protect player and most of the trolley bag. Best feature is the easy to raise, and lower, push button mechanics.With no vents, it will catch the stronger wind. Has a soft-feel foam handle,which is comfortable to hold, but gets torn by the retaining screw in thetrolley bracket.

My husband is on a certain medication that does not allow him to go out in the sun. Although a sick man,he can still manage to do a bit of fishing with his unbrella!

Very ordinary and unlikely to have UV protection.Flimsy and only seems to have a basic nylon canopy. End keeps falling off as well.
