I was thrilled about this product, believing it was the answer to stream-lining my camera rig. I have a cage setup with matte box and all. Feeding picture from my Sony to an external monitor seemed like there were some minor issues in the picture like noise and snow, of which I believed were just having to do with the filters places inside my matte box. I was able to tap and jiggle the wires with a few configurations of filters until it became blatantly clear that this small device was the sole purpose for an extremely poor picture quality on my monitor. This really tested my patience and delayed the production process overall, believing that something was wrong with my gear while all along it was this connector. Disappointed in the purchase - to say the least.

This small item is very useful for me at some critical moments.Especially when I find out that the ordinary HDMI capble is unable to insert my TV，because the space between wall and TV is too narrow.I feel so lucky to find this adapter，so I can use this adapter to make HDMI capble insert my TV more easily and no bending.By the way, this prodcut dose not reduce output quality of images, it is recommended.

it is very loose. It cant turn much cause it just twists the wires inside... and yes if you just barely twist too much, the wires break inside.*UPDATE*The Seller contacted me and gave me a refund and offered to replace as well. Good on them.They said they would, and hopefully they do, update the description because in the pics it shows 360 degrees for the twisting part... it barely does 45 degrees. Up and Down it DOES do 90 degrees, but people buying this need more than just an L. Its still a pass for me, but the Seller was at least very helpful.

I dont write reviews.I only write this because it honestly just makes sense. There is no reason hdmi cables should put this much stress on your laptop's hdmi port (other than bad design). This is perfect for any meeting room, home theater laptop or any other case where you care about breaking hdmi ports.
