MicroSystems iChime Play Anything Digital Doorbell Auxiliary Speaker

Pretty neat device. Has a lot of neat pre recorded sounds. Easy to install & setup. Highly recommend. I also got the add on speaker for extra sound. Really didn't need it , but wanted to add another device kind of like a backup sound source. I installed it next to the chime device. If installing away from the powered chime device wires need to be run through the wall. I didn't want to go through that trouble.You can record your own sounds. Takes a little practice to get the correct sound. Best to keep the sound source a little low, the turn the volume up on the chime itself. Works well.

Product does not work. When I set a default tone it plays it once then goes back to rotating through all of them in sequence. I have reached out to http://www.ichime.com/contact/ and had no reply after over a week. I will try calling them tomorrow. Meanwhile I am very unhappy with this product.On the plus side - it is plenty loud. I purchased the extra speaker - that was a waste - it must be hard wired. I had hoped it'd be wireless.

Decent door bell if you're looking for something that has a variety of musical tunes to play. Options available to change the selection for different holidays or to add your own tune. Sound quality is not what you'll be buying this for but it is acceptable. Fairly plain looking but it gets the job done. I've had it for over a year now and it has performed fine. I added the optional speaker, easy to hook up, to cover the backyard patio.

Wanted doorbell we could hear throughout the house. This doorbell delivers the volume, with a boatload of fun thrown in. The many, many different chime options are a blast, especially the Halloween and Christmas ones. The only disappointment is the difficulty of installing additional speakers because they require hardworking to the main chiming box so there is a lot of work to install secondary speakers in basement or upper floors.

Its quiet, and manual says it needs batteries.

It is well made and very easy to mount. Removal and reinstalling takes 30 seconds because the main unit slips of by pushing it upward about an inch. Nice beefy speaker and it is as loud as the main unit. I also found out through experience that the manufacturer is VERY easy to deal with and accommodating. This is a nice addition to the main unit.

Works exactly as described and great for large houses where hearingcan be impeded.
