I’ve always hated the ends that come on most batons that do nothing to help keep it from sliding out of your hand (especially if you sweat like me). This helps to make sure that your hand won’t slide off when deploying/swinging a baton, and also helps when you pull the baton out of the holster. This is a great addition that should come factory standard on batons.

Works well to help pull the baton out with minimal effort. I like that if the baton slips out of the hand, the top will prevent it from rolling on the ground.

Using the asp with the factory base grip is an accidental launch ready to happen. This will add a level of prevention that should honestly come standard. Twists right on in seconds. You won't regret it.
