Unlike its competitors, particularly the ribbed, rigid, black ones, this one is flexible, and easy to use. Wires can be inserted or fed out anyplace along its length. Unlike the rigid ones it has no sharp edges to cut or abrade fingers or cause pain if you are not wearing shoes while working with it. Its flexibility makes it easy to work with in tight spaces and conform to turns. The only minor issue with it is that if cut to length the ends need to be heat sealed to prevent unraveling. This just takes seconds with a small butane kitchen torch or BBQ lighter. It likely could be done with a match but on a white sleeve it might leave some visible soot on the end. Unlike Zip ties it can be easily reused. Unlike the Velcro straps it does not gather dust that is difficult to remove and curl up if reuse is attempted. It is also far more attractive. Speaking of Zip ties if a more permanent installation is desired, Zip ties can be used to clamp it around the cables without damage to the sleeve. The ties can also be cut off and the sleeve is ready for adjustment an reuse. All in all it is an affordable and elegant solution for cable control. After using this I am designating my black ridged, ribbed sleeves to the recycle bin. In using it is as simple as spreading the flexible, soft sleeve open and inserting the cables as it is self closing and nothing to thread or tighten. I individual cables can be added or removed just as easily. The marketing of it also notes it can resist damage from animals as well. After using this product I have difficulty in trying to come up with a reason as why I would use anything else for an indoor non hazardous application excluding such applications like wire burial, high moisture situations, high temperatures, physical abuse, constant outdoor exposure to sunlight, etc. I absolutely plan to purchase this product again for any of my in home or office wire bundling needs.

I used a small flame to each cut end so that it does not unravel. This is a very necessary step to do. This is durable and looks great. it will get a little bigger that the rated diameter. I recommend this because it works so well and looks great.

After researching several different cord protectors, I decided on this one. My Senior cat realize that if he chews on a cord, it wakes me up and that way he can get his breakfast early. After he chewed through eight different cords in my house, I knew I needed to purchase a protector. I read so many different reviews and did so much research and I really am happy that I chose this product. It is very easy to put on the cords. You can cut it to size. If you want to move it to a different cord, It is very easy to remove. And I am very happy to state that my cat took one little bite to wake me up and he absolutely hates the cord protector. He is never chewed through it or attempted again! Win-win for me. I will purchase this again for all the cords in my house.

This is really easy to use and organizes a few cables in one tube. It is a little stiff so flush placement can be a challenge. I’m hoping it will relax and go flush with time.
