Not sure what all the fuss is about in the mixed reviews. This is my first wireless bike computer that I installed - so much easier to install without having to wrap a wire down the front brake cable. Of course, lets see how long the sensor battery lasts, but at least 3 weeks of use it has worked perfectly. Does not start up automatically when you start moving the bike though - but just a push of a button and you see the speed. As with any bike speedometer with a magnetic sensor, two things are important - make sure you make an accurate measurement of your bike tire circumference (this one uses mm) and make sure the magnet is as close as possible to the top or bottom edge of the sensor (not the middle since the toggles are always at the end). See the image with my setting. The sensor is large so I had to install it at an angle but that is how one of the images showed and that worked perfectly. Quite pleased and will recommend!

Great little speedometer and for the price you can't beat it...at $7 out the door : )Accuracy is on point once you get the adjustment right. As you can see I have a fat tire Bike, so I had to make a few adjustments/farications (see the photos) for it to be straight & parallel with the magnet. Absolutely recommend this speedometer as it does most of what all the other ones do at a fraction of the price. You can get the plastic. Beads that you melt in hot water to make the ideal adjustment for a fat tire bike here on Amazon. ( that stuff has been very handy in several projects) place it against your forks and mold it like I did and there you have it. Side note: when installing the sensor that goes down by the forks make sure the battery latch faces outward towards, making it easier to change the battery confirmed with seller instructions are inaccurate plus you'll get a better reading I have it going right down the middle of the sensors as you can see in my photo... Safe riding all !!

The product does work, but like many items sold, but manufactured in a foreign country, the English instructions need some work. This product isn't set up for anything with less than a 16" wheel. There is a manual method of figuring it out, but that is done in meters and not feet...which again just takes some calculations. The item seems to function properly, but it would be nice if the tables went down to the "trike" size wheels.

I was just looking for something to track my mileage. I didn't need any type of advanced computer functions. I also didn't want to spend a lot of money because it's been my experience that even pricier ones don't last a long time. This unit doesn't reek of quality but it's ok. Setup and installation was simple. I guess of you're like me and just need a few basic functions it will serve you well.

Why can't instructions be written so you can understand how to correctly install the product. Label the pieces you are talking about and actually show diagrams that can be seen without a magnifying glass. This might be a great product, but how do you install it correctly!!

The ONLY negative is that the display could be brighter. It is difficult for these 70 year old eyes to see in bright sunlight. The MPH is fine because its large, but the numbers along the bottom are hard to make out and the letters indicating which function (max, avg, time, etc)are especially difficult.

Although it took longer than expected to install, it finally did work. Good enough for the price in order to at least keep track of distance and speed. Not fancy or as specifically accurate but definitely works for the price.

Terrible product. Does not work at all. I would give it zero stars. Installation is not clear at all. One you think you have it figured out it doesn’t work. Returning it immediately. Anyone recommend a different product??
