Nice product at a good price. Solderability was great and I had no problems with the plastic melting at soldering temperatures. Cable hole is quite small.

These are an excellent knock-off of the Switchcraft TA3F, which sells for three to four (and up!) times the price that these cost. Very good plug, very sturdy. My principal application for these is to make replacement cables for AKG (and other) headphones, and cables used with various wireless mike body-packs. Very good strain relief (as good as the Switchcraft, in fact) and the rubber wire-exit boot is also very good, and will stretch to accommodate a fairly large cable. Unbeatable for the money, highly recommended. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is that I have no data on field ruggedness or service lifetime yet - but they look like they're going to last.
