Asbestos Test Kit 1 PK (5 Bus. Days) #1 Lab Certified Asbestos Test

We moved into our house last year and there was some old vinyl flooring in the basement. I wasn't sure when it had been installed, so I wanted to make sure that there was no asbestos in it before removing it myself. I found this test, which came with actual lab results and was priced very reasonably. After receiving the sampling materials, it took me a little while to actually take the sample, and then took additional time to get the sample mailed out. In that time, the lab company reached out twice to see if I had any issues or difficulties with the testing. I finally sent in the sample. I believe the kit said that results would be emailed in 5 business days. I think it was technically business day 6 that I received my results, but there may have been a holiday in there. I had emailed that same day because I had concerns about not recognizing the email address or something. Not only did I receive my results that day, which showed no indication that it was related to my reaching out, but I also received a response from their customer service team the next day saying that they were connecting with the lab to ensure I got my results. I have seen some reviews about confusion over the instructions and not getting results on time, but my experience with customer service showed me that if I did have any questions they made it very easy to connect with someone. I have used other types of tests in the past, but mostly manual because the lab results were more expensive. With this kit I felt like I got lab quality results with a DIY price. I would definitely recommend this kit if you have some sort of material and you're not sure if it could contain asbestos.

It was easy to use, and I got results back within the advertised time frame. It would be nice if there was some way to track the status of the test after submission so you aren't just waiting until they e-mail you.

The testing kit arrived on time and the enclosed instructions were fairly easy to understand and follow. The results arrived a day or two later than expected but the results were very clear and understandable.My only complaint is that the envelope for the return of the sample had an incorrect address. The lab contacted us via email and instructed us to correct the address on the package before sending it back. Since they already knew about the errant address, they should have provided a corrected mailing label themselves.

I would recommend that anyone wanting to sell or buy a home to get this test. The results come back quickly and you need the report to either help you sell or keep you safe as a buyer. Or you can save a clean test report for a future sell.

Can't say anything because the idiot decided he knew better than to try something we purchased to help him figure out if it was asbestos or not. Instead the idiot hired professionals who took one look at him and said "yep, idiot alert. Yeah dude you got it all over your attic". And now he won't cop to it that he never tried the kit.

Easy to use. However, had to chase results down. Make a copy of your document before mailing. And be prepared to mKe a few phones.

Appreciate the ease with which this process occurred. Took a day or two longer than anticipated, but still a great way to go!

Not due to them but the package was damaged and they were having issues with their lab
