The content is 5 stars, I would buy the hardcover and AVOID this seller. Seller claims NEW, book is clearly USED
In a nutshell the information provided is excellent. Same information as the hardcopy version (CCIE Routing and Switching v5.0 Volume 2). So this 3 star review does not apply to the content. The Paperback book I bought was supposed to be brand "New". This is surely not the case because THE BOOK ITSELF, (not the packaging or just the cover) is stained (dirty) and it seems used.So again, the content within the book is A-class (5 stars), no different to the hardcover version. But if I was to do this all over again, i'd buy it new and i'd buy the hardcover. You don't know what you will get with this seller. Again, my book arrived with dirty pages, rumpled pages, markings etc. clearly it must be used, but seller claims its new. What a load of nonsense.

The worst book I have ever read
The worst book I have ever read.. The books published by Cisco for their own courses are almost always crap , but this book and its Volume I, are at the top of their worst books.Cisco should hire the authors like René Molenaar and Todd Lammle , for their CCIE books . I have read the books of these authors for my CCNA and CCNP studies. Both authors not only have the full grasp of knowledge but most importantly the technique and skill to explain the complex topics in a brilliant way......A genius in a subject not necessarily means a good teacher or a good author of a book on that subject ......teaching and writing a technical book is totally a different set of skils.......CISCO should know/understand that especially when the quality material/books , for CCIE R & S is very limited in the market
