InsideRide E-Motion Bike Roller for Indoor Bicycle Riding

I’m very impressed by E-Motion rollers. They were introduced to me from a strong cyclist friend. Before purchasing these rollers I’ve never ridden off the road or conventional style trainers. After my third attempt I was able to finish a two and half hour ride with big gear intervals. This machine is absolutely epic. I highly recommend it!

I have owned these rollers for about 1.5 years. There are simply the next best thing to going for an outdoor ride. The Smart Resistance control unit allows you create a variety of programs for training. The rollers are very adaptable for Zwifting as well. Very sturdy unit and very well worth it

I’ll never ride a fixed turbo trainer again. We’ve been using our inside ride rollers for 2 years now (mostly with Zwift, but not exclusively) and indoor rides are no longer dreary; it’s highly comparable to riding outdoors in every way imaginable. We even use them in summer when the weather or work gets in the way. We purchased the optional fork stand as well and thought it was very well designed and built but only used it a few times before going back to the full free ride feel we love so much; riding these things is so much easier than traditional rollers so don’t overthink it too much, but if the nominal extra cost of the fork stand is what gives you the confidence you need to get started, it’s money well spent and they’ll always be useful for all out efforts or days when you want a mental break from the free ride sensation (although I’m telling you, you’ll come to crave it at the same time!). The product is very well built, and the folks at inside ride are very responsive to any questions you may have. Shipping was A1 and the entire transaction was seamless. We ordered with the Elite Smart unit feature and love how well it replicates inclines on Zwift or its erg mode while doing workouts on same. While you can use the elite module as a “power source” when zwifting , it’s very generous on the wattage front (its impossible to make a power meter option like this accurate on any roller design - this is not specific to this product) so we use our bike mounted Stages Power Meters for an accurate and easy to pair solution. The elite smart module provides the varying resistance and the stages power meter provides the power source (watts). For a grand total of Aprox $1800 (inside ride with smart resistance device option and my sold separately bike mounted stages power meter combined ) , it’s a bargain when I do the math on two of us using it as much as we do each year. A fantastic product from a great company!
