No matter how many cleansing balms and makeup removers I try, I always end up coming back to this. It removes makeup so easily (even stubborn eye makeup) while still leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized instead of stripped. It’s simple, effective, affordable, and just works every time. Definitely a staple product for me.

Feeling a bit nostalgic and looking for inspiration for retro design I began watching a series of YouTube videos about life in the 1950s. I was getting a kick out of a few that featured life of the average woman… You know… like the ones of women who are afraid their husband is going to return home from work and you haven’t clean the toilet bowl. Gasp!! Whatever should they do? I began noticing a few tips that still apply even in our modern tech world. One was the use of Ponds cold cream. I remembered my grandmother used it as did my mom. Both had great skin. I even vaguely remember the commercials when I was a kid. It’s inexpensive so for the heck of it I ordered a jar. In shock! This product actually has better results for removing make up, moisturizing, and cleaning my face better than any expensive product I’ve used in my life! I’m not exaggerating! It works incredibly well. Very few ingredients. I’ve now become a fan and use it regularly. It’s very efficient. I honestly can’t believe the difference in my complexion all for pennies on the dollar comparative to really expensive products that had become a routine over the years! One jar lasts quite a long time, taking the place of a make up remover, of face cleanser, and a moisturizer that I’ve used at the cost of approximately $45 monthly! I’m not exaggerating! The jar doesn’t have the elegance of a lot of today’s products. In fact, it hasn’t changed much over the years and likely that is on our side because of the lower cost. We pay for a lot of product presentation. The contents make all of the difference. There is a reason why this product has been around for generations. If you have the impression that this product is too old-fashioned to work well, as I thought, give it a try. It’s so inexpensive comparatively to most products on the market today you can always toss it if you don’t like it and not feel like you’ve wasted money. I’m telling you for a fact that my husband who loves me in Brigette Jones “just the way I am” has commented more than once that I have brighter and fresher look. Several friends have been very complimentary lately and this is the only thing in my routine that’s different. It’s not a miracle of any type. It’s just a very clean and basic product that gets the job done without a lot of extra additives. I’m loving the results and the low cost.

Notice, buyers, this is 3 SMALL jars, not 3 regular sized ones. I suppose that would be better for travel, but I did not realize that was what I was ordering. Not returning as this was my fault for not realizing a 3.5 ounce jar was way smaller than I was expecting. Next time, I will just pick up a large jar at Walmart. Have not opened the product itself but expect that part of the story to be fine.

Had to try this after going down the video rabbit hole. The hype is real and I’m never going back to overpriced spa face products. This smells so clean and removed every bit of my makeup. It feels amazing at the end of the day to clean my face with ponds. And my skin has never glowed brighter. No turning back! Splurge for soft face cloths for the full delightful self care experience.

My go to! For a cream it is very light weight and moisturizes without making your skin oily. Gentle for all skin types and gives the old school cool feeling upon application.

I've used this product for many years as a makeup remover. I like that it's not heavily scented and not greasy. This smaller size jar is the perfect size for travel and not taking up a lot of room in my cabinet.

This pond's cold cream is great i use it every day as a skin care routine daily. I have found that this skin care brand is perfect for my type of skin which is sensitive and it does not irritate my skin. the scent can be a bit over powering if you have a sensitive nose but for me it is OK. The cleanser quality is great as it gets rid of makeup and grime from the day away with ease. I don't have to use a lot as a small amount goes a long way which is amazing. the value for the price i got this item is just right. it doesn't cost too much and it the right price for me. I would highly recommend this product if your looking for a vintage style face cleanser with great quality and great pricing.

Used for 20yrs one of the best cleaners on the market it removes waterproof mascara so easily no matter how much you put on and leaves a nice silky texture on the skin
