Cup Review
Sooo this review is for the cup, not the pads. I am 5'6",130lbs, 32 years old and have had no children. I got the blue cup in the larger size (30 mL). I already have the peachlife cup (20 mL) which looks similar and I love it, but the first couple days of my cycle are so heavy I'd have to empty it 3-4 times a day instead of once in the morning and once at night. Or else I overflow it and that's a pain. So I bought this one for the higher capacity. It arrived quickly, the box is actually tiny, not giant like in the picture, but that's not a big deal, better actually. It is bigger than the peachlife cup but doesn't really look THAT much bigger when they're side by side (see photo). One of the first things I noticed is that it's a lot more firm than the peachlife cup, which I thought eh maybe that's cool because maybe it will be less squashed when inserted and be able to hold more. So my period comes around and there's no big difference with insertion, even though I don't fall in the category the "large" was made for. Despite its firmness, it took a second to nudge it up higher because the bottom just kept folding up, but I figured it out after a few tries. I ended up exchanging it 3 times the first day and just twice the second, although the first morning I was very near to a catastrophe (in the cup's defense, I bleed a LOT.) Also, with my peachlife I never pinched the bottom to relieve suction during removal because I didn't really need to, it just went *pop!* and came out, but this one was like *BAM.* and I was like OW WTH. So after that time I pinched and all was well. After the first 2 days it was back to my little peachlife. So... Overall I like it, it definitely helps during those first two days.

Bought this to replace my Femmycycle cup
I bought this to replace my femmycycle cup. I had a cheap, $7 cup that I loved, but the stem made it hard to remove. Because I had great success with that cup, I decided to splurge on the femmecycle cup. Well that cup always leaked but I liked the ring. I decided to buy this cup because it’s shaped like my first cup, but has a ring for easy retrieval. The cup is really firm, which makes it finicky to insert sometimes and uncomfortable to remove. However, I can feel when the cup pops open without me having to insert my finger and feel around the base. I leaked on my two heavier days, so I’m going to purchase the large to see if my flow contributes to the leaking. The only thing I would change about this cup is the ring’s size. I would prefer it to be slightly bigger.

I LOVE it!!!
So I am still a beginner at using menstrual cups, this is my second one. This one I purchased mainly because the ring for removal, I have had issues with other stems in the past. This one is easy to remove! I also don't feel it at all while I am wearing it. I tend to be kind of cheap and was skeptical buying this, but it is my favorite cup so far! I highly recommend this one. It shipped quickly too!

This cup is awesome!
This cup is awesome! Its very soft and comfortable but the rim is firm enough to hold well, I always used to leak but not with this cup! This is my first period that I don’t need a pantyliner, and I can forget I’m on my period! I got it in a size L, I’m 22, 120 Lbs with a cervix that I can barely reach with the tip of my finger. I had to cut off the ring at the end, but the ridges still make it easy to grip. I got it in black, finally a cup that doesn’t stain! I’m giving 4 stars because I feel as though it’s a bit difficult to get the cup to open, if the rim was firmer it would be perfect. With a bit of maneuvering, making sure it’s open, it’s leakproof for 12 hours.

Hard Cup
Great idea to put a loop on the end for easier removal. This cup is just a lot harder than the others I’ve used before so instillation was a little rough the first couple times.

comfortable alternative to pads / tampons
Love the idea of not throwing away pads/tampons. Feels cleaner than using cloth underwear. Easy to insert and the finger loop helps - the PeriodMate requires less effort to remove compared to the Diva cup. I have heavy flow some days and did get some spotting a couple of times during use. Using a cup has my lady parts feeling more natural compared with tampons that dry me out a bit.

I should have stayed with my usual period cup but wanted to try a different brand . Big mistake , this period cup is so bulky and uncomfortable

Material is too hard.
Not a fan of this cup. It’s very hard and very noticeable when inserted that it’s there. Wish I had known this before I purchased it.
