RAZER Kraken Tournament Edition: THX Spatial Audio - Full Audio Control - Cooling Gel-Infused Ear Cushions- Black (Renewed)

This headset came in pristine condition, in the undamaged Razer Kraken box. I would have sworn it was brand new, works perfectly for casual gaming and for work. It's super comfortable, I have TMJ so pressure from most standard headsets begins to irritate my jaw area pretty quickly, I can wear these for hours without trouble. It's got the weight of high quality without being too heavy, it is on the bully side but it looks so cool I don't mind. I'm told the sound from my mic is clear, no need to mess with the settings much or pull the mic right up against my mouth like I've seen in some reviews. The audio is really nice, too. The surround sound is cool, I haven't used it much but it's a neat feature. Doesn't work so well with music, you want the normal stereo sound for regular listening. It's bassy and does sound pretty good, even without using the EQ. It leaks sound pretty heavily if music or game/movie volume is turned up, the sound can easily be heard by someone else in the room. Voice doesn't seem to have that problem thankfully. I'm so pleased with these, and pleasantly surprised with the warehouse quality and price.

I have owned this headset for about 5 years now and they still work like they are brand new. I love the retractable mic and braided cable for extra durability. Audio controller works great but keep in mind that the THX feature requires downloading their software. Cable is also extra long so there's plenty of space too move around. Mic is very high quality and is crystal clear.

I've used this headset since July 2019, 4 years and 10 months. I've thrown it slammed it knocked the symbol of the side of the earpiece and I've dropped them by tripping on the cord at least 100x from 3 feet. The left ear has finally gone out but the mic the right ear the headband the ear pads the adjuster on the cord the size adjustment the Mini mixer are all in 100% working condition. 5 out of 5 stars. The ONLY issue is they don't clamp to your head well which can be an advantage when you're using them 8-10 hours a day which I have done in the past. The gel ears are awesome and the cord held up flawlessly. Sound is great good up and downs and left and rights for the game but not much from in front or behind but game sense will help with quick process of elimination.

This headset checks all the boxes. Great sound quality for gaming. The THX surround sound simulation is nice and helps with games like COD Warzone. It's not audiophile level by any means but it's not bad at all for a sub-$100 headset. Good tight bass and you can adjust the EQ with Razer Synapse. Comfortable to wear. I usually play for 3-4hrs and have not had any discomfort. Cushions does the job and the open air design allows for breathe-ability. The headband doesn't put too much pressure either. Mic works well. No complaints from my teammates. The volume control dongle is a plus for quick muting and volume adjustments. Build quality is good so far. Seems solid overall and I have no concerns of anything breaking. Just what I would expect from a Razer product.

Between these, the Kraken Ultimate, And TE V2, I ended up keeping these. Not sure what the hate is about, mine works fine sounds great, is very comfortable for long long raids. The adjustable EQ in synapse is nice, the USB mixer is also nice so that I can have a 3.5 still plugged into my laptop and it allows me to play music through my speakers and discord through my headset. Mic quality, my guild says this mic sounds better than the mic on my Bose QC35 (previous “gaming” headset). The only “downside” is that these headphones don’t have chroma RGB...I know that may be a deal breaker for some, but for me, having my headphones not glow isn’t. Overall, my treble is a little weak, the bass is a bit too strong, but these things can be fixed. I paid $40 for my headset, and for the price, I have 0 complaints. Couldn’t be happier.

This written portion is just a shorter version which inspired my video. The video was created with the headphones more importantly the boom mic, so you should be able to hear the quality of output. This pair I purchased renewed. I could not tell that it had been previously owned other than the box it came in did not look retail. I wasn't sure what to expect with these headphones after seeing all the haters in the reviews. What was apparent is that there are a lot of people that bought these and did not know how to use them and therefore thought they were broken or bad. If you aren't willing to download software, explore the features, mess with the EQ these are probably not for you. These are made for people who are really serious about gaming and are willing to take time to adjust the sounds that they are hearing to optimize their game play. If you aren't serious about taking the time to optimize your audio or you aren't very tech savvy don't get these Tournament Edition Krakens. Get some other headphones that are plug and play.

I long while back I purchased some Audio Technica headset with a 4channel soundboard and it worked great until it gave out on me about 10 years after purchase. Headset was $200 and soundboard was $80ish. I bought these to get me through until I figured out if I wanted to repair my old headset. Turns out this headset is the best headset I have ever used and will now make it my primary one. Very comfortable, sounds great, my online friends say the mic is 10x better than my old headset. My only issue with it so far is it slightly sounds like the right ear is quieter than the left ear but it's a refurbished product at a great price point so I can't complain too much. Bought the extended warranty just in case ;).

I almost didn’t get this but I’m glad I did thank you seller for sending me a prettt much BRAND new headset. Works flawlessly. I apologize for the late review as I wanted to make sure the product was working as intended. Order with confidence but always get the best deal for you.

Came with dents and scratches and the sound quality was terrible.

I have had this for under a year and one earpiece has already stopped working. I reached out to Razer and they could not help because they were sold by an unauthorized seller. After about a month of buying the mic lid came off and continuously falls off when try to put back on.
