RemoAmbassador Black Suede™ Drumhead, 14"

Great drumhead, tends a bit more toward mid-range but the lows and highs are all there in perfect balance. The finish does not mar up as easily as coated heads, but you still get the warmth; there is no "plasticy" tone, but you still get the attack of a clear drumhead. This one is on cast metal snare, may recommend going with a white suede for a wood drum...but experiment, you never know! Durability is great, to...lots of miles on it, hardly any sign of stickmarks. -AD

I love the Emperors so when I wanted the type of crack I usually get from a one ply I decided to try this out. I put this on a birch snare. Dang! I love it. These Black Suedes are currently my go to heads.I use Emperors on toms with clear Ambassadors as resonants. On kick I’m currently using the Powerstroke P3 with a P3 Smooth White on front. I’m using this Ambassador on a 14” birch for the current project I’m on but my go to is normally a 13” x 5.5” birch with the Emperor. Always with the standard Hazy on bottom.I’m super happy with the tones I’m getting. Very tunable with great range. I highly recommend these Black Suede heads.

Exactly what you think it is: old school ambassador head. Works great And one can tune it for Rich deep tones or with a ring Or anything in between.Great stick response too.

Este parche es de 10 mil, muy grueso por mi djembe, no puedo estirarte mucho o se quebra, buscando tonos altos, cortos, y agudos. Los tonos de este parche son bajos, obscuros, y tiene largo sotenido y resonancia, perfecto para toms, pero no bueno para caja ni timbales.Al fin yo compre EVANS TRANSPARENTE SNARE SIDE 300 de 3 mil grosor.

This is my favourite snare head ever. It may cost a bit. But it's great, and lasts a good while. I had a problem with the delivery of this head as it came bent. But i contacted the company who was selling it and they gave me £10 back and the head was still very usable. The head sounds best when it's tuned as high as possible. I damn near burst the head when i was tightening it. But as long as there is even tension on the head it should be fine.

Love the sound on my 1963 Ludwig 400.
