The 3 stars are for Without a doubt it's the most comfortable grip i ever laid my hands on. Probably the biggest grip ever. This grip may not be for everyone. However my 10 year old son continues to borrow it and I often times have to steal it back. It looks great on the switch giving it a PlayStation look and feel. Probably the best looking grip I ever laid my eyes on. However I don't recommend this for certain games like fortnight or modern combat. With that said I tend to twist and bend on the grips quiet a bit with motion controls on and the elastic buckle tends to pop off leaving your switch vulnerable to falls if you accidentally pop off both buckles.My biggest con about this is how it is mounted. The bottom of the grip uses your USB charging port to hold the switch in place. This is a big "hell no" from me if your at all concerned about breaking your switch charging port I would not recommend this grip. But if you're careful and know what you're doing or careless about your switch.. go buy it.And by the way it does cover up your game card slot. So if you use game cards alot then you'll have to remove the grip each time you want play a different game.TV dock mode.. forget it. The portable dock that I use with this grip when laying it down in place isn't at all compatible or does not work. You can only charge with the grip on. But the company said it's quick charge compatible. I think it's debatable. I haven't tested it thoroughly. But switch does seem to charge quicker without the grip.

Pros: holds your switch very neatly with an awesome hand grip. Very natural feeling.My switch can be charged via a USB bank so I can get a long playtime out of it.Very secure feeling. Your switch won't be falling out.Cons: covers some very important slots. Game cartridge being the most.Does not fully hold your switch. Around the controller areas could use a little more re-inforcement and strength.It is bulky, but this really isn't a con. It's bigger than your standard switch hard case, so be mindful.In reality, my biggest gripe is the fact that it doesn't have much strength around the joycon area.Highly recommend, it's very comfortable in the hands.

Overall it's not too bad ... I enjoy it more than just holding the switch by itself ...give me more of a space to hit buttons separate instead of having my hand gripped around all the buttons by default..will make ur switch a lot wider but I like it ...just need these n different colors ....but other wise it's worth the money .

If you don't get the Pro controller this is the next best thing. It's just like the one that comes with the unit from a size and feel prospective, except this one can charge while you play. The one included with the switch is just a holder and doesn't charge. If you play long enough to kill the battery in the joy cons you need this, otherwise the one that comes with the unit will do.

I thought I had purchased it in black but mine came in this ugly, crackled white that lights up when I put the charger through it. Not the best for playing at night with that feature.Other than that, it works just fine!

The grip feels really nice in the hand the only thing I didn't really like about it was where it holds onto the top of the switch Blocks the game card slot I also wish it had a kickstand or something like that

I admit I never treat my Switch well. I wasted some screen protector, and I am a PS4 guy that feel a bit strange when playing the switch. But this product fix my problem, very comfortable on hand , and I can also charge it when I am playing. 5 Stars :)

The grip is very comfortable and easy to attach. I noticed it won't charge unless you use the provided cable with a fast charging dock but the comfort of the handle makes that easily over looked. A great product for the dedicated Switch player with big hands.
