The Westcott 8ths 6-Inch Beveled Transparent Ruler is as advertised and a great value for the money. It is very useful as a straight edge for underlining or highlighting, for bullet journaling, and for crafting. The markings make this ruler useful for precision work. The six inch length make it easily portable and easy to keep it where you need to use it.

Love these grid rulers. Great to toss in our backpack or pencil case. I use all the time. Perfect for fashion and basic school needs. This brand and type comes in many sizes.

I use this ruler specifically when I need to make one or more straight lines parallel with the edge of paper. The transparency and the grid make it very easy to do so and I'm not spending time carefully making sure I'm lining up a ruler on each side of the paper to mark both ends exactly, and hoping I got it right so that the line is truly parallel to the edge of paper. This makes it quick and easy. The grid also makes it easy to quickly find the center of the line.

I got this ruler to keep in the pocket of my bullet journal and I am quite happy with it. Its small size makes it perfect for this and as it is plastic, it does not add to the weight of my journal. The fact it is see-through with grid lines was a nice boon. As I tend to be a perfectionist about lines being straight, this helps me make sure everything is lined up before I draw it out. I am really glad I got this.

I love the convenience of having this ruler. I keep a bullet journal, and I want my lines to be straight. Since I could be anywhere quickly drawing up a chart or something, I love that I can keep this in my bujo, either in the back pocket or wedged between any of the back pages so it doesn’t obstruct my writing. I wanted my ruler to be small, transparent (to see exactly how it’s lining up), and I always prefer higher quality products. I bought this in March 2019 when this product was less than $5, and, even then, I felt it was a little pricey for what it is (you can get a clear 12” Westcott ruler for a little over $1). However, with some exceptions, I’m of the mind that you often get what you pay for. As I planned to use it regularly, I figured it’d be an investment of sorts. I wish it were a better made. The edge is a bit rounded at corners which bothers me a bit when I need to draw a longer line. It’s not a huge deal obviously, but something to note. It also has some nicks and scratches already even though it’s always in my journal. I wouldn’t say that it’s worth $7+. That being said, it’s super convenient, I get quite a bit of use out of it, and don’t plan on replacing it any time soon.

I lost my original 6 inch ruler and had to order another one right away because it's the perfect size to use on my greeting cards. Larger rulers just get in the way on my limited work space. I like being able to see through the ruler so I can position it more precisely on my card. I'm always going to make sure I have a supply of these Westcott rulers on hand, because they are rather easy to misplace.

I have to buy new Cthru rulers every few years. They can't be beat for drafting and I especially love these little ones. I can never find them in the stores around here so I was glad to find them on Amazon
