British Woodland Camouflage Combat Jacket

As a Brit obviously the British Camo has always been my favourite. The official name given to this was Disruptive Pattern Material or DPM. Sadly this Camouflage has now been replaced so this is probably the last of it being sold as surplus. I picked this up because it could pretty much be my last chance to own a piece of the uniform. There's a lot to like about this jacket. It's built well, roomy and the chest pockets are big enough to store both your land rover and it's keys. It's not lined nor waterproof but a drop of rain wouldn't be a problem for anyone wearing this, besides given that it rains in Great Britain all the time this won't turn into a soggy mess if your caught in a rainstorm. The price for what you get makes this the bargain of the century.

Item arrived on time and was pretty much as expected. I am 6'1" and about 245 pounds and the 190-112 fits me pretty much perfect. I will agree with the other reviews that this is more of a shirt or light windbreaker than a true jacket. I also have this items big brother the British DPM coat and will try to compare the two here. There are no side pockets at all. Only two large chest pockets. No hoodie or large collar at all like the coat. It does both zip and button up the front like the coat but the zipper, oddly enough, does not extend all the way to the bottom, just the buttons. Mine came with the Union Jack on the sleeve, but no velcro area to add patches or insignia. I really do like this pattern of camo as it works well in the area I live in. One would probably wear this over a t-shirt or such on cooler mornings before the sun is fully up. Could not beat the price. I got this to toss in the truck as a backup if I got caught out in the cool or damp. Think it will pretty much fit the bill just fine.

This thing is great! It was delivered ahead of schedule with no issues and it fits and feels great. It has a zipper as well as buttons in the front- you can do either or both. Ample and well paced pockets, perfect material for non winter airsofting, It did have a very small union jack on it that was easily removed with a sharp pair of modeling scissors- basically cut 1 thread on each edge and it just pulled the thread out and done, unless of course you want to play SAS!

I was surprised how comfortable this shirt is. Its lightweight, so it won't keep you warm this time of year. But its still good enough to wear under a heavy jacket, or just around the house.

Good quality, good looking, comfortable. No surprises here: I have a few of these. Get 'em while you can!
