Was very easy to install(some technological experience required), charges very nicely, I had to hang fishing weights off my cord on the old type c port assembly to get my phone to charge, but now when I plug my charger in to the new port it immediately starts charging. my only concern is whether this part will last, and whether or not it supports quickcharge. When I unpacked the part, it looked and felt high quality, as it was much thicker than the original part. And the connecting pins were not gold plated. But that is miniscule. What matters is that so far this part works wonderful. One thing to note though, if you're like me, and replacing the part yourself instead of shelling out a lot of money at a repair shop, make sure to transfer any static electricity off of your hands by touching something metal before you handle this part, as it is sensitive. Also make sure to pull off the black rubber gasket around the original charger port, and put it on this new part, as this one does not come with one, and the charger port has a little bit of wiggle room without the gasket. Hopefully this review was more in depth, and provided you with some much needed information if you were on the edge about buying this part. I might buy a couple of these just in case, as they're cheap and felt high quality. I will be updating this review in a couple months on the use and quality of this part.Update April 18th 2019: as you can see from the pictures I have uploaded, I am super rough on my phones, as I work in dangerous environments. I was up high on a ladder, and my phone dropped out of my jacket pocket straight down to hard supermarket linoleum. The whole back cover cracked and exploded off of the phone, but guess what still works? This part here that I purchased lol. Props to this company on its parts, cause this part is rigid, durable, and survived a fall off of a ladder.

Two of these, and they are STILL broken. I got another one from a different brand and it fixed the issue. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! You will regret it!So initially, I had an issue where the product was broken and I can't make any calls or get cell service. I contacted the seller, and they sent me a replacement free of charge, and I don't even have to send back the part I have that's defective. Because of this, I am updating the review to reflect great customer service. I will come back and update to full stars if the product works!Edit: The second port has the same issue. I am returning the product and buying elsewhere.

No me agradó que la persona que lo trajo no me llamó y porque yo lo necesitaba lo pedí por segunda vez.Después me llegó el último que pedí y unos días después me llegó el anterior o sea que lo pedí dos veces y obviamente pagué dos veces por error negligencia de la persona que se suponía haría la primera entrega y no lo hizo.Por lo demás no puedo negar que Amazon presta uno de los mejores servicios en el mundo, los felicito y que Dios los bendiga.

Works perfectly fine. I was kinda scared ordering this because I usually have issues with replacement parts from amazon but it actually worked great. It’s a shame they didn’t have another one available since I had two of that same phone.

So far so good easy to install, proper fit. Save me from having to replace the entire phone for my daughter.
