I'm a neuroscientist, and needed something to manually control the air pressure during experiments (mouth pipetting). Usually, people use plastic tubing and tips, but that can get gross and wasteful, so I bought these. They stand up to abuse way better than most plastic, and are not easy to crack. I used a manometer to confirm that they form an air-tight seal (>200 mmHg). They're easy to clean, reusable, and very sturdy. I also love that mine came in different sizes.

I love bamboo straws so wanted to order more but these had so much bamboo lint shavings inside that they took me forever to clean and then I still wondered if i got it all out so didn't use them.

I was debating whether I should stop using plastic straws or not. Finally, I can use reusable straws without causing harm to the environment. Also, these are just as good as the plastic ones. I highly recommend this product!

These are easier on your teeth than a stainless straw, but you do have to clean them a bit more to begin with to remove wood pieces. The walls of the straw are also much thicker which is fine for water, I wouldn’t want to drink anything but water through these bc I would guess that the inside is somewhat porous. And they are not all the same length or diameter. Still, save the turtles!

I bought these bamboo straws as a replacement for plastic disposable straws. I highly prefer drinking out of metal straws as these bamboo straws are kind of awkward and I don’t feel like they hold up well to water or cleaning and the bristle cleaners that I have will not fit into the straws so I have not tested this theory but I don’t think they would be very sanitary.

The material and message was perfect for my ocean loving family members and friends. They enjoyed the bag and the cleaner.

Great Bamboo straws but three of them weren't drilled all the way through so had to throw those away.
