Children's V-Shape Safety Vest

I used this for part of a Halloween costume. I read prior reviews and yes, it is very light weight but the reflective ability is perfect. Now that Halloween is over, I will add a weight or something to make it heavier to keep it from flapping and he can use it while riding his bike.

i got these for halloween and they came in handy it was cold and rainy and cars where going buy us and the vests lit up when the car headlight shined on my children we had a safe halloween they work great

I bought two of these vests: one for a 2-year-old and one for a 4-year-old. We're in a neighborhood with no sidewalks.I'd originally planned to buy a pair of different vests: [...]However, I postponed ordering, and when I went to finalize my order, those vests were unavailable. These were.These vests do not stay on well for three reasons:1. They are extremely light weight.2. They are fairly slick.3. The V is deep and widens, slipping off my children's shoulders.These are solvable problems. I bought drapery weights to sew onto the bottoms (on the sides that lay against my children's shirts), and I plan to add a ribbon strap to hold the V together about 2 inches above the bottom of the V on both the front and the back. That shouldn't be hard, even for a person who sews little. The drapery weights ( Dritz Drapery Weights 1 Inch Square With Tab-4/Pkg  added a bit over $2.50 each to my purchase.For reflective kids' items, these vests were still good purchases.-They won't obscure Halloween costumes much.-They're quick to put on for walks.-They will fit over both shirts and coats without having to be readjusted.

I got two of these v-shaped safety "vests" for my 4- and 6-year olds to wear daily in the deep 5pm winter darkness to make our 1-block, 4-crossings walk home safer. Reflective they are, yes, so technically the boys are much more visible to drivers now, BUT the vests do NOT stay in place... I chose this product over a conventional vest as it is easier and faster to put on and take off daily. I was somehow expecting that it would be nicely centered and stay like the picture... Fact is, 2 seconds after "vests" are on, my kids are walking around with either a very long necklace on the front and a single dot on the back, or two straps down and around their arms... The boys love wearing them nonetheless, so I guess safety mission accomplished, but for this price, it would have been nice if they stayed in place better.

This is a nice reflective vest for your little one. You will not be disappointed in this vest. Your little one will love wearing it too. Folds away fairly well too.

Well I needed a vest for my busy little one and this was on sale so I brought it. This serves it's purpose but it should be called safety strips because it is super light and flies up in his face. I will have to pin it to his shirt otherwise it flaps in the wind, and hangs all to the back or all to the front.
