2-in-1 Salt and Pepper Grinder Set- Premium Salt and Pepper Mill, Stainless Steel, Ceramic Grinding Mechanism, Adjustable Grind - For Sea Salt, Pink Himalayan Salt, Pepper Corn & Other Spices

I bought this as a second S&P set for our outdoor picnic set. I already own the Oxo grinder set and really, really like it for the excellent grinding and rubberized grip, but it's too expensive for a second set. So, I got this (much) less expensive set because it included the salt grinder (vs just a salt shaker) and also has the rubberized grip. So. there's the pros. Here's the cons: First, a minor point, but it's bad design - the S and P marks on the metal surface are almost invisible. In dim light, no way! Second, a big problem is that the grinding process depends on a friction seal between the plastic and the metal parts and on ours, the salt side seal has failed. I've jury rigged it to be still usable, so I'm not returning it. Even with this problem, the rubberized grip, good grinding, and excellent price point rate three stars.

I love how it grinds. It is handy having the salt and pepper in one. We used it right away and the pepper didn't work. We tried to figure out what was wrong and the only thing we could figure out was that the black grinding part of the pepper part of the grinder came out of the silver capsule part that held it in and we have to fix it by gluing it to the silver part of the grinder otherwise it is fine.

This is a nice grinder. Upon opening it and looking it over closely I noticed that the plastic which hold the pepper and the salt is rated a 07. I am returning it for that reason. I am disappointed that a better material was used in this product because it is a perfect size and has the ceramic grinders which is what I was shopping for.

It's a nice concept and it's a well built product. However, it does not hold enough salt or pepper. Since this is a grinder, you need whole peppercorns and rock salt to use with this device. It just flat out won't hold enough of either. Further, the salt used in this device provides no protection like iodized salt.

It is a nice salt and pepper grinder. Unless I missed something though, there is no way of telling which end you are using so you do not know if pepper or salt is going to come out when you grind. I marked mine with a magic marker.

The product fit-up for service use is not durable. Do not think I will purchase product again or recommend it for purchase. Perhaps it is user error and more explicit instructions are needed. I used the pepper side of the unit only. The arrived without damage along with other items.

This one of the best grinder I've had in years the only problem is that I would of liked to seen better markings for salt, maybe a white collar rather than the same as the pepper. I was worried about the volume capacity of both the salt and the pepper but it has proved to be just fine after 1 month of regular use it still hasn't run out.

Great Grinder, I have only been using it about a week but working great so far. Able to get a really fine grind of salt and pepper. It would be nice to have some visual indicator in addition to the small S or P to let you see what you are grinding. Possibly make the grinder adjustment knob white for salt and black for pepper so you could see from the top without having to turn it around to see. (using white pepper and pink salt so it is not so easy to tell them apart sometimes)
