Wakefield Premium Virginia Peanuts in-Shell for Squirrels, Blue Jays & Wildlife - 25 LB Bulk Bag - Hand-Picked, Raw, Unsalted, High Protein Wild Bird & Animal Feed (50 LBS)

These are still awesome peanuts! I stick with this brand because I've had them with moths. These are a great quality! I see many large 3 peanut units. This is my 2nd 5 star review. It's been more than a year since my last review. They are still awesome 👌 Though I haven't tasted them, the squirrels and Blue Jay's love them! 6 cups Gone in 1/2 hour.

Great product my squirrel love them

Our wildlife are spoiled because they get only the best! This is a very high quality product and we are satisfied with our many purchases since January 2025. I've only had 3-4 broken or empty shells but that is near zero waste when you consider how many peanuts you get in a 25 lb bag! They've never been moldy, shriveled, or anything else but good quality. I highly recommend this product if you want to provide excellent quality food to supplement your wildlife's foraging habits. It's especially helpful during cold winters and inclement weather when they can't get out to forage as usual when the ground is icy or wet. This doesn't have the same high nutritional content as the hazelnuts and pecans that I feed the squirrels but it's a nice distraction for them. The jays and other larger birds love peanuts in the shell and prefer it over the shelled variety.

These peanuts in the shell are really nice, not a lot of fines mixed in. Between the Bluejays, squirrels and crows these peanuts are a hit. Quick shipping, price was good for the amount received.

Excellent quality peanuts. Perfectly grown, to the best ripeness and size. The squirrels love them as well as other animals.

I want to give an update to this review. While I'm not sure where the spiders/gnats came from, once we aired the bag outside for a few hours, I did decide to put into a different container so I could store in the back room. The peanuts are of very good quality and I don't see any more pests. So I am going to upgrade my rating, just to be fair, to 5 stars. Squirrels and birds are happy. Peanuts arrived in a late evening delivery so left the box in the entry. In the morning, my husband noted there were 2 ugly black spiders under the edges of the box that our cats were going crazy trying to get. So we hauled the box outside and when we opened it, tons of gnats flew out. Don't store in your home. While the peanuts came in a mesh bag and appear to be fine, (dry not damp, no smell and the squirrels surely didn't mind them), I'm still not a fan of dealing with the additional wildlife. I usually store these type of items in my back room, but this will not be one of them. For this I can only give 3 stars. Just be aware.

Great product, a little expensive

Keeps squirrels and larger birds well fed and content. Disappears quickly after I scatter it in my back yard. I, too, appreciate the freshness of the peanuts...all in the shell, no broken bits or debris. Great value for the money.
