We Thank Thee (Gospel)

What can you say other than this CD gives you GOOSE BUMPS every time you hear it. It's no wonder they called Jim Reeves: "Gentleman JIM". His voice & Passion will stir most anyone who believes in the Lord. He will definitely move your spirit to give Thankfulness for all our father has done for us. I do not want to preach here, but I must say if you want to listen to a strong, godly, stirring baritone voice that is sure to give you a spiritual feeling of God, I feel this album will do just that for all who listen. For anyone believing in God this album will truly be one of your favorites & your entire family will enjoy this CD. Buy it & you will NOT be sorry!

I ordered two of his gospel Cd's at the same time. Both had almost the exact same songs. There were only a couple songs on each CD that was different. I do not care. I love this CD, as well as the other one. There is one song, which is on both of these Cd's called "Oh, gentle shepherd". This is the prettiest song I have ever heard. I have to drive 70 miles each way to work. I kept hitting repeat on the stereo for the full hour and one half drive. I can't say that has ever happened before. If you love Jim Reeves, I think you will enjoy this Cd.

Jim Reeves is a classic. Only wish his music could be found in a cd form; as players for the cassettes are becoming harder to find.His country music is only shadowed by his gospel music. Truly 1 of a kind. Current musicians are all starting to sound alike and look alike. What happened to our true entertainers, ones that you would travel miles to hear as there was no substitute. Hear one now - you have heard them all. SAD TO SAY!

This is the music of a spectacular singer, Jim Reeves, who was called home all too soon. His voice was wonderful, as are all the songs on this CD. I highly recommend this CD for any Jim Reeves fans or anyone who likes classical renditions of these beautiful songs. So glad Amazon still carries his work; they never disappoint!! All of the songs on this CD have religious significance, and he delivers them in awesome form.

This has been a favourite of mine for many years and especially as we celebrated 50years of marriage two weeks ago and this was a favourite of ours bringing back many happy memories. In moving and other things over the years, my vinyl record was lost and I thought wrongly that it had been discontinued. To see that it was now in CD format I was thrilled to acquire one and it has been a real treat to play this again after many years.

This disc arrived well packed and on time as promised. There is nobody that can sing Gospel songs as he can, and he is still good to listen to after all these years since he left us. A very good selection of songs from the `master` of C & W and easy listening. Recommended to anyone who wants to sit down, listen and relax.
