Fascinating! In-Depth Description and Documentation on the Mental Discipline Known as CVR

Before I read this book I was unfamiliar with CONTROLLED REMOTE VIEWING. The book which is remarkably well-organized, gave me very detailed easy to grasp the method to tap into ones own intuitive powers. The fact that it is not sugar coated as a magic quick method explaining that it is an exercise that demands commitment and discipline was well documented and shown with the manuals. There was a clean direct manner in which the book was written. It is formatted so that I could go back and forth using the glossary if needed or going back to re-read a section as it related to some of the manuals. It sounds like a fascinating mastery and as often happens I have recently noticed other sources related to the subject. Two thumbs up, this book has piqued my curiosity now all I need is to find the discipline!

Highly Recommend !!

Daz Smith is one of the worlds most well know Remote Viewers from projects from Farsight Institute. Here he outlines, two different protocols / procedures from the United States Armys remote viewer programs: Grand Father of Remote Viewing Ingo Swan, and Paul Smith. I'd definitely recommend to pick up a hard copy, or kindle version ( you can get kindle version for 99 cents when you collect the hard copy) to anyone from just a casual interest in Remote Viewing to Learned and Advanced remote viewers that just want to get into Daz's Head. Haha !! LOL :-D I say that because the first night I got a copy of Brett Staurts remote viewing book, I read through maybe 60% of it, and the next morning I had a dream about his white truck that got really bad gas mileage, and he had ' roofing materials ' in it (roof represents the subconouss as a dream symbol) and when I asked him about it, he had just sold the truck, but I launched missile from my attic that when through the roof (subconcouss mind) and exploded outside in the air. Brett thought that meant I was really excited about remote viewing, well I AM O:-) I've been doing it for longer than I can remember, but you have to understand whats in these books to know the ' Stargate ' derived protocols to fully develop your remote viewing, and to be able to deliver consistent results within the protocols that are commonly excepted. Alright ! Enough Said, buy the Book Today, because your Winning Lottery Ticket may be just a weeks away !!

Excellent resource for those interested in remote viewing and CRV

This book is a great compilation of historical and background documents, many of which were either inaccessible or difficult to find, plus some new material that will shed further light not just on remote viewing but especially on the controlled remote viewing (CRV) methodology and process. This will be useful not only for people who are trying to understand the basics, but also for those who are working on some of the more advanced concepts as well. It will, I hope, also promote a bit more purity in the CRV world for those who already now are engaged in the methodology, or are wondering why what they have already learned doesn't seem to be working quite right. The material presented here forms a rich source for those who are interested in really understanding CRV.

Concise, useful information and training

I bought this book because I expected it to be dry and to-the-point, and every bit as confusing as beta versions of training manuals.I wasn't disappointed. While some of the advice is very specific, other sections remind me that CRV is a very nebulous skill. It's something people either get or they don't, after trying some of the exercises. On a personal level, CRV has interested me for years. However, the field is fraught with ethical questions and some dangers, so I've never pursued it.As a writer, I needed to understand the formal, more-or-less codified approach to CRV and this book delivered exactly that. I'm impressed. What surprised me the most was what gets in the way of CRV. It's the one thing I thought would be the greatest asset to someone considering a CRV program. This short, concise book is very good if you're interested in trying CRV and want to know what works best, so far.Or if, like me, you want to include CRV elements or insights in a book you're writing, this is probably the very best book to read. The sequence of training steps may baffle you -- especially the early levels, when the work is deliberately generalized. However, this IS the real manual and it will give you a rich view (no pun intended) of how challenging CRV is, and what it's like to be immersed in that world.Weird. Fascinating. Insightful. It's the how-to guide for those actually involved in "Men Who Stare at Goats" activities, based on the real exercises used by CRV trainers.

Finally. A comprehensive guide on Controlled Remote Viewing accessible to all! I love this book!

Finally! A comprehensive book about the art and practice of Controlled Remote viewing. Daz does a fantastic job of presenting this intricate methodology that till now was only available through expensive training courses. Don't get me wrong, those courses are very helpful for those who are obsessed with learning how to improve their remote viewing skills, but this book is the next best thing and now makes controlled Remote Viewing, for which Daz Smith is a Master and highly respected as one of the best remote viewers of today's generation of viewers, accessible to all. I'm recommending this detailed and easy to understand book to my own students as well. Love It!

Egregious writing, total rubbish

Many lengthy portions of vaguely worded descriptions with unclear message. Anyone with some parapsychological skills will immediately say no to this book if you are interested in developing your psi skills. This is probably why CRV never went anywhere.

Super book with solid info on an intriguing subject--remote viewing

Daz Smith really pulls it all together with the solid info from the once top secret U.S. Military remote viewing unit. Based solidly in science that the American government utilized for years that hone psychic phenomenon into a skill that can be learned and practiced by anyone who is willing to learn and grow. Good stuff for those who always suspected that we humans have potential not limited by the five traditional senses, yet still want to be thinking, science-based modern folks who are not gullible when the neighborhood fortune teller spins her cold reading fake Jedi mind tricks.

Excellent

The long-awaited manuals which I would classify undoubtedly as one of the most important RV readings. Witten in concise yet comprehensive manner, that is the best RV handbook and one of the few so useful RV books. A must-read.

I liked it.

As someone who has been trying to learn Remote Viewing for around a month now, I found that this book was very helpful. Its a textbook of sorts, and has provided me with lots of things to think about at my current stage of development. For example, it has helped me understand why I get stuck at certain specific stages and thoughts on what I can try to overcome these blockages. What I can tell you is that remote viewing works. I am just not very good at it yet, but I do think that book has helped me learn to take things up a step, though time will tell on that one. And once I have done that it is full of info on how to move up yet another step.So why 4 stars and not 5 - well I couldn't in all honesty say I "loved it" as it is a textbook!! But I did like it - a lot, and will refer back to it in the future.
