I am not sure if these beans are old or not however even after soaking them a day and cooking them appropriately for almost 2 hours they still are chewing and tough. There are even a few beans that didnt cook well at all and remained super tough. We basically thru most of this away. I paid premium money for this. Makes me think they are old. I will not pay this kind of money again for this product

after searching for a dark red kidney bean, I choose these becase they were organic and non GMO.... I used these in a chili batch I made yesterday and they were delicious...I love red kidney beans in chile...beautiful beans that don't fall apart after cooking...Made enough chili to freeze six future dinners..should be great in the future...very pleased....

These are organic and sprouted. Hard to find. They taste so much better than any dried beans I have had and are healthier too. I'm glad Amazon has them and am grateful to the vendor.

Soaked overnight and then pressure cooked, they were rock hard after all that.

Oh, they're so delicious. They soak-up into huge beans. I'm 64 & have eaten lots of kidney beans in my life, but these are the best.

Great tasting organic beans. Make sure to soak them in a clean, filtered water for at least 24 hours before cooking.

A friend ordered it and it was terrible, doesn't soften up even after soaking it in water for hours and it's tasteless. Worst rajma I have ever had.
