The Ghost Meter Pro EMF Sensor - With Exclusive New Ghost Dialog Mode!

I bought this as a gag gift and it was returned to me because the recipient became scared after playing with it. So I brought this to my office because my employees complain of noise and voices when I'm not there. I explained to them we have a sandwich shop to our left and a dry cleaners to our right but they were not convinced. Turned on the EMF Pro and left it on my desk and walked away to treat a patient. I came back and the needle was bouncing on 5 in the red with the lights and sound going absolutely nuts. I picked the unit up thinking there must be a malfunction but after about 15 seconds it just went down to 0. There were no EMF signals in my office and my desk is in the middle of the room with my laptop out for repairs. My front office girls were complaining of a banging noise as this was happening. Odd but not convinced.So I brought this home to check out "cold spots" and a strange pungent smell coming from a corner of my son's room. This meter went nuts when I turned it on pointed in the direction of the cold spots and smell. After going through everything in the corner I found a "dreamcatcher" that fell behind his drawers was lying between the drawer and the bottom of the unit stuck in between. Now I'm not a believer in these things but I decided to bag the dream catcher and dispose of it in a trash unit behind my office (not the house). The next night no cold spots, no smell, and no signal when pointed the same direction/area the night before. We've been "symptom" free since. No words.

I'll admit I was pretty reluctant to make this purchase because of the cheesy presentation of the unit; however for the money, I wanted to give it a try. Hands down, this unit works very well. I used the unit in a test lab environment and it performed just as good as the high dollar EMF units (sorry Paranormal `Investigators', it's the truth). Nonetheless, I would 100% advise for anyone getting started in ghost hunting to buy this product; of course later on down the road you can always spend out the cash for the higher-end units, if you really feel the need to blow a lot of cash on an EMF unit. My advise, save the cash and get a full-spectrum camera.

This meter does what it says it will do. But it is also set on some sort of timer, so that on the supposed dialogue setting, this meter is timed to beep and flash every two minutes, regardless of whether or not you asked a spirit questions. Same with the other settings. If you hold it up to a cell phone, it flashes. But it also flashes when it isn't near anything, on timed intervals, so that unless you have no IQ whatsoever, you only get excited the first couple of times, then you figure it out. Not so fun after that. But for this price, not like you should expect anything more than a mildly sophisticated toy, either.

The "Pro" moniker should mean that it has improvements or enhancements over the standard version. This is a toy designed to ride on the ghost hunter craze. I have the non pro model and have compared the readings to my EMF meters that I use for work measuring magnetic fields made by industrial equipment. The standard version works. This is a fake with pre programmed responses to make one think there are ghosts in the area. It does not even measure EMF properly on the standard mode setting.There are real meters in this price range out there. Buy them instead. Notice this is usually sold in the toy sections of the online shops.

An acquaintance showed me their GM, and it was quiet amusing. So, I searched online, read reviews, and ordered my own. Unfortunately, the one I received was slightly glitch-y. Sometimes the slightest movement will make the Meter go off. Additionally, walking too fast and turning it upside down also makes the meter go off. The product that I received was easily debunked as an electronic that is either fake or doesn't work properly. :/

I couldn't wait to get this piece of equipment to add to my kit. It's supposed to pick up Y/N answers to questions asked of a entity. This meter answered the questions using a "Y, N, Y, N, Y" pattern that was Exactly the same 7 times in a row!! Between each segment the "spirit" HaHaHa!! goes away for a minute or two then comes back and starts the same pattern again. The last time I tried it, I didn't even ask any questions and got the same exact pattern. This is Not even a good TOY! How can it be used for real EMF answers????? I'm requesting my money back unless someone can prove to me that I'm doing something wrong. If they can do that, I'll retract this opinion.I won't retract this so that everyone is aware of a possible malfunction, but after speaking to the company, they are sending a new replacement. I'm sure it will work fine. I have spoken with other people that also use this meter and they don't have a problem.

Does what it says. I am a beginner ghost hunter, and so far this product has been true to its claims. Great value for just starting out and learning.

With a small bit of doubt I purchased this Ghost Meter Pro, I wasn't sure if it would be a piece of equipment we could take seriously. Now that we have used it for a bit I have to say, I am impressed enough to leave a comment. I would absolutely recommend this as an important tool in our arsenal of paranormal equipment. On the down side tho, I think the instructions were a little vague and that could possibly lead to false feelings on how well it works. If a person slows down and puts time into understanding the instructions given, they would feel like I do, what started out as questionable has now become an important part of our ghost hunts.
