AWFUL - Cheap Tat
I have a job interview tomorrow and needed a smart looking 'interview' jacket so trawled through the endless listings of Chinese produced garments in Prime that came up in my search and, after almost giving up the search, happened upon this one which sounded as if it would be suitable and the (few) reviews for it were generally fairly positive. It could be delivered within 24 hours which was what I needed. So, I ordered one. BIG MISTAKE! This so-called jacket is AWFUL. The material is horrible, cheap, shiny'ish, Lycra'ish stuff that is stretchy (and seems to have no cotton in, despite the details on here claiming it does) - but not stretchy enough to overcome the fact that the sizing is WAY off and the jacket is about 3 sizes too small so I can barely even do it up. The inner seams are not sewn down so they flap open, the length of the jacket is very short so it looks incredibly boxy and stupid and the 3/4 ruched sleeves are even worse and just look as if they're far too short. I was expecting a more structured 'proper' type of smart jacket and this is so far from being that. I probably could have got something better off a market stall for half the price, or certainly from a charity shop! So, this horrible disaster has necessitated me having to make a trip to a well-known High Street chain to rush in and buy one of their jackets before my early morning interview, which is VERY annoying. I wouldn't be seen dead in this jacket and if I did wear it to the interview I could guarantee I wouldn't stand a chance of getting the job! If I could give this 0 stars I would - it doesn't even deserve 1 star.P.S. Amazon - PLEASE stop selling cheap, nasty Chinese garments that are over-priced, under-sized and all round horrible. Maybe about 10% of the Chinese garments are okay but most seem to be total rubbish and every time I'm looking for a decent garment on here I have to trawl through endless listings of those garments (many of which are not even remotely the type of item I'm searching for) to find something good.
