These pants were magic for my wife's long legs and fit her really well. That was until we washed them. The shrunk 3". Measured the inseam after the second wash and it went from the original 33" to 30". Our goal with these pants were to finally end the unfortunate saga of never long enough pants. She loved the fit around the waist and in the thigh but in the end, the 97% cotton shrinkage was just too much. In our photos you can see the khaki pair we purchased after she thought she loved them. Khakis have never been worn or washed compared to the black pair she has had for a couple weeks. Disappointed the world doesn't care about long legged girls.Edit & PRO TIP: To unshrink. Put the pants in warm water with conditioner (yes, for your hair) or baby shampoo. Let the pants soak for 10 minutes. Lay pants between two towels and roll until most of the moisture is out. Then stretch them babies. Pull them evenly from belt loops to hem. Leave on a towel over night. It will add about two inches back and make them wearable again.

I've been ordering these pants for over 12 years for work. I used to buy them from Sears, then the Dickies website, then amazon. They have always been mid-rise and fit well around the hips and a little long. I'm only 5'4" so I wash them in warm water to get them to shrink. After a set I had for awhile ripped, I went into my amazon account and reordered the pants. When they arrived I immediately knew they weren't the same. The size said it was the same, the tag said the style was the same, but they button at my belly button, fabric felt different, and there is A LOT of extra fabric between my legs. I tried shrinking them, but it was not able to resolve the high waist or excess fabric. I thought maybe it was just a fluke pair, and reordered them. Same issue, so I returned them. The style is no longer listed on the dickies website either. I loved the old cut and wish they would bring it back.

Have always bought the N882 in a size 5, knowing that they shrink A LOT. Last time I ordered 2 pairs in June of '18. After getting them, washed and dried... washed and dried and fit perfect as usual. Fast forward to mid-October and ordered 2 more pairs. Didn't think to try them on as I've always bought this style. Took the stickers/tags off, washed and dried... washed and dried again and they fit completely different, way up over my belly button! I looked and the new pair has a longer seam/more stitching from the bottom of the zipper to the crotch where the leg seams meet. Went on Dickies site and seen a review from a week earlier saying the same thing, so I contacted Dickies. They are no help as they were bought through Amazon and I don't know how I am supposed to return them to Amazon since the tags are gone and they've been washed 2 or 3 times. Really disgusted that I am out $54!!! all because they decided to change the style but kept the same number and have not updated the site from Mid-Rise to High-Rise... Only giving it 1 star because it won't let me leave 0 stars.

First let me start off by saying that the pants themselves were of good quality and the material was nice. They arrived quickly and were packaged well. The reason I gave it a lower score is because these pants are made for a very specific body type: tall and thin. I purchased two pairs of these pants, one in my usual size and one in the next size up. With the pants that were my usual size: They fit my legs well. They fit my waist a little snuggly. However the biggest problem that i had with them is the back of them seemed very short and were tight in the crotch. Any underwear would be clearly visible. I figured that perhaps it was that in this type of pants my usual size was too small so i got the next size up. This pair were very long. I am 5'6, a little overweight but not a lot and have long legs but i would have been walking on these. They were loose in the waist and would have required a belt but they did cover where they were supposed to. Biggest problem: tight in the crotch and panty lines galore! Therefore they were both too big and too small at the same time. They're great quality and if you can find a size that will do your body justice, then great! But be prepared to have to return them a few times for different sizes. On that note, it was super easy and fast to return the pants. So overall, good quality pants but with a strange/uncomfortable fit and style that made it necessary to return them. Probably a good choice for someone tall and thin.

These have changed. I have been ordering the pants for work for about 3 years now. Unfortunately they are not the same as they were before. I dont have to look them up , I just hit the buy again button, so I know I ordered the same ones. The inseam is way to long and they are baggy in the leggs now. Almost like they are a mens fit. Plus they are 32inches long. My husband doesn't even were pants that long. Very disappointed. Will now have to find somewhere else to get them.

I needed khaki pants for work, so I bought these, but I will unfortunately be returning them. First of all, the color is more of a green-khaki than a beige-khaki, which was very disappointing. Secondly, they were too tight for comfort. I’m perfectly fine with a tight-fitting pant ;) BUT these were constricting my thighs to the point that it felt like blood wasn’t flowing well (I couldn’t imagine doing a shift in them). I am 5’6 and 130lbs, and I usually wear size 2-3, so I purchased a size 3. Although it was tight on my thighs, the waist fit perfect (no extra space/gap in the back waistline - so no belt needed), the length was semi-long (but it is easy to hem). I’m afraid if I get a size 4, it will be way too long and the waist won’t fit anymore. Plus, I need beige khakis, so I’m returning these for good. 🤷‍♀️

These pants fit perfectly. The fabric appears to be very durable. Not stiff but constructed with a good quality fabric. I have ordered another two pairs.
