Puppia Soft Vest Harness B

I bought this harness in size medium for my 10 pound mini dachshund puppy and it fits well. It is a little bit loose around the neck area but she'll grow into it. Her chest is around 14inches and her neck is 9.5inches. Since the velcro part is adjustable, I can put the harness over her sweater and her jacket.I tried many other harnesses before deciding that this one is the easiest one to use, and the most comfortable for my pup. The other harnesses were very hard to close/open the clasp and difficult to put on my dog since it had to go over her head.Some other harnesses I used seemed to choke my dog or hurt her throat when she pulled on the leash but this one does not seem to hurt her at all. If you are worried about your dog being able to escape the harness, as long as you get the right size, it shouldn't be a problem. However, if the harness is a little loose, your dog may be able to back out of the harness.I don't think I am going to ever use a different harness again! I have been using this harness for about 3 months now and it has gotten a bit dirty but it is still holding up very well and the velcro has not worn out at all. I definitely recommend this harness for puppies and dachshunds. It is a little more expensive than some other harnesses found on amazon but it is definitely worth it.

I used to like these harnesses but have 2 serious complaints that rule out buying from this seller. First I received 3 wrong size and had to pay separate postage to return each. This was not my fault and I was not told either at sale or return that I had to pay postage. This makes buying anything at Amazon more of a risky ordeal these days. As more items are shipped incorrectly I am finding that the postage on some items is too high to bother. Second and this is the more serious safety issue of the harness is that the same size may now be cut too big or material stretches because the medium I have been buying fell off my dog this week. Fortunately it was in the house and I was in the next room. He is a good dog and was sitting there waiting for me to come put it back on him. If this happened while out crossing the street or while holding him by the leash and harness at the street corner while traffic went speeding by, it could have been a tragedy. My dog has worn the harnesses since he was 10 weeks and never pulls at it or tries to remove it. He sits readily while I put t on him. It appears the fabric simply stretched or the Velcro is not holding right but it is a definite safety issue. The buckle was still latched and it just fell off. I noticed the brand new one I put on him right away is cut differently so that the Velcro seems not to overlap properly. I don't really know what caused this but the Velcro seems to be the problem along with fabric that now stretches. The size small is much too small so he's wearing the same size for the entire year and always changed frequently.

After reading reviews for so many brands and types of harnesses, we decided to get this for my extremely fussy cat. She is 3.5kg/7.7lb and we got her a small size. It fits comfortably with a little extra space. The material is soft and well ventilated, excellent for warm weather. The velcro is large and secures the body well. The clasp at the back of the neck is also well positioned so her fur doesn't get caught. The pink color looks cheerful and pretty, perfect for our princess! :)

I bought this for my ~12 lb cat for a cross country move. It's pretty easy to put on him and he doesn't mind wearing it. So far he hasn't been able to wriggle out of it. It's also pretty adorable on.

Purchased this Harness , but sizes listed on HAPPY DOG PLACE (although they may be Puppia's listing) are either DECEIVING or INCORRECT. We asked for a large, based on the sizing listed, but it was no larger than the MEDIUM we previously owned by the same manufacturer (Puppia) which our dog had outgrown (too small). The newer and LARGE that we ordered was still too small. When we placed the older outgrown harness (MEDIUM) on top of the newer (LARGE) harness, they were of the same relative size ,except for the holes the front legs go through, which were actually smaller than the old one. The hem was slightly larger (maybe a 1/4" to 1/2", but not the chest or neck. When we asked for an exchange HAPPY DOG PLACE was quick to respond and willing to help. When we returned the item (at our cost) HAPPY DOG PLACE said that the size was correct according to their research and asked us what we wanted to do. We asked for the next size up, but they wanted us to pay delivery charges for the exchange, even though the item we ordered (according to their SIZING) was too small (not our fault. We shouldn't have had to pay anything when the sizing was wrong. That should ALWAYS fall on the seller, not the buyer!!! We ended up asking for a refund, but 5 days later we still haven't seen any action (refund or credit). Love the product, but SIZING is an issue, that is why I gave only 2 stars.

This harness is great for my 6 yr old, 20lb pug. I bought the xl and it's perfect. I purchased a large for my more petite pug (18lb) and I had to send it back. The large is tiny and fits like a medium.I purchased a different puppia harness for these pugs, and they both wore a large. For this harness they're getting extra larges. When in doubt, get the larger size!

Lovely made harness I was sceptical of what size to get my 10 week miniature Dachshund as he is tiny! while reading plenty reviews I went by his weight which is 2.1kg and to my disappointment it’s far too big I can get my hand in even with the straps altered but I’m still going to keep it for when he eventually grows into it ! But awaiting a Xs tomorrow as it’s his first ever outing he will look very smart I’m sure!

We had an overhead harness which was difficult to put on an inquisitive puppy who tried to chew everything. However, This step-through version was perfect! Easy to put on and fasten up. Comfortable padding with two clips and Velcro fastener on the back make this feel safe and sturdy. Happy.

I wanted to find a new more comfortable harness for my 2 young Chihuahuas (weighting 2kg each). After reading some reviews online I found Puppia and decided to give it a go. The fit and quality of these harnesses are fantastic, very much worth the price! Dogs are comfortable while walking now! Always measure your dog first, and size up!

I wish I had seen these earlier and I would have have saved myself a fortune they are the best harness I have ever seen they are well worth the money I like the double rings that the lead goes through my dog gets overheated very quickly but these don’t make him hot. Also a lot of harnesses have thin straps that cut into the dogs shoulders these have wide straps they keep my dog nice and secure love love these harnesses have bought three

I absolutely love everything about this harness!! No other soft harnesses in local pet shops go anywhere near as small as this one does! I measured my pup to find out his chest measurements and found out he was XXS. Puppia have there own sizes so XXS in any other brand will likely be way too big. I’m looking at my next size up now. So easy to put on too!
