One of Tatsuro Yamashita's 7 classic albums reissued simultaneously, through a remastering process supervised by the artist himself. His 6th full-length album includes "Your Eyes" which was later covered by superstar Takuya Kimura, his self-cover of "Every Night" which he originally penned for Mariya Taleuchi. This reissue includes bonus track(s) consisting of previously unpublished material! Comes with a liner note with explanations on songs written by the artist himself (in Japanese). Special Feature / Bonus Track: 4 bonus tracks Review: Feeling ecstatic and nostalgic - looking back on good old days in the 80's - I cannot help reminiscing my youth in the 80's Japan when I listen to some of the music by Tatsuro Yamashita. 'Morning Glory', 'Music Book', and 'Futari' included in this CD are some of the best songs. Yamashita has topped the chart of so-called Japanese City Pop music since the 80's and I believe amongst many X-gen people he still remains one of the most popular Japanese artists. He has been known to have been influenced by the Beach Boys and the likes of them, hence I recognise he uses his own unique voice layering arrangement in many of his songs. I have always regarded him as Japanese version of talented Brian Wilson. Aside of producing his albums, he is also a composer/producer/arranger of many of his wife's ( Mariya Takeuchi) albums and songs. ' Morning Glory' included in this CD is worth mentioning - Mariya Takeuchi does her version of 'Morning Glory' in her earlier album ' Miss M' ( 1980). Review: A Sparkle - Definitely one of Tatsu's best albums. Every track on here is a joy, even the short interludes. Definitely worth buying

Great product, although
Great product, although, the casing came cracked. Which I was not very happy about, I guess it was because the packaging was too simple/weak.

Great album, very happy with my purchase. Love the album artwork and the OBI as well as the insert featuring tatsuro in a car with multiple women.

Como bien dice el título "For You" (Para Ti) y para cualquiera que le guste la buena música.

On se croirait chez Toto ou Christopher Cross, sauf que les textes sont en japonais. Une pépite des années 80 du côté du soleil levant.

For You is in my opinion one of the greatest albums I have ever listened to. From start to finish, every track is extremely solid. If I had to be asked, this album is arguably Tatsuro's best work. Every single track from start to finish is top class. Unlike Ride on Time, the first half of the album doesn't greatly overshadow the second. However this isn't saying the 2nd half is bad, its just not quite as strong as the first tracks. For You is a more complete Album, but both brought this Artist to the limelight for a reason.
