What a wonderful product! Generally speaking, this product is extremely convenient as it is not too heavy and easy to move around. Its size is just perfect to store in my dorm room. I would say that it’s cooking portion can satisfy a wide range of parties. Outlook is very nice, I really like the design and the overall artistic input.Now let’s get to its utilities. This is not just a rice cooker!! I live in a dorm and I must say that this has so many functions and I am more than satisfied. It has 8 main functions, from rice cooking to stew, and even Clay Pot Rice (did not expect that)! What I love about this product is that you can set it up so that it automatically cooks during night. As a college student, nothing is better than waking up and having warm congee as breakfast. I also made beef stew with this and it was wonderful, meat was extremely tender and the cooking process was so simple and straightforward!This product is very easy to clean as all the parts are easily assembled. It also comes with many utensils such as all sizes of spoons. In love with this!

Boiling water spilled all over my counter twice. I bought one of these and after cooking rice the 2nd time, water spilled everywhere down to my wood floors. So I replaced it with a new one. The 2nd one also did the same thing. Never the 1st time I cook rice. It’s always on the 2nd attempt. So I opened the lid to check on the rice after the machine turned off only to have boiling hot water spill onto me from water gathered in the spout of the lid. Good thing I was wearing sweatpants at the time and only got minor burns.I contacted Amazon about this only to be told I had to take it up with the seller. Which means it’s now going in the trash and no refund.The rice came out great every time, just ruined my counter and the wood floors.After cooking rice for over 25 years, I’ve never had incidents such as this. It is true the rice cooks better than an instant pot. The quality is as good as zojirishi. But it’s not worth the dangers. So buyer beware.

We cook rice several times a week. With my daughter and son grow up we need to change a bigger size rice cooker. I found this from amazon and the price is very nice, then I decided to try it. You cannot believe it definitely exceeds your expectations. It looks very beautiful and has a lot of features; the size is what I want. I can’t wait to start using that. I made white rice at the first time, it has been fantastic. And the keep warm function works very well and doesn’t result in any crusting at the bottom or over drying. One unexciting huge bonus is the cooking plate; this is not just a rice cooker, it has 8 functions. I try the soup types last weekend, and you cannot believe it is a really wonderful feature.The other good function is you can set it up so that it automatically cooks when you want. Sometime I take my kids go to the playground in the morning at the weekend, and when we back the lunch is ready. What a wonderful thing.It’s also very easy to clean, the top and inside part where the steam comes out unscrews so you can clean that gummy build up.Do not hesitate; it is definitely a perfect kitchen helper.

This was a good rice cooker. Simple to use and functional. It was also a nice looking rice cooker.1 year and a few days after the purchase, it stopped working! The family was like - there are no sensitive moving parts or parts that we knock into the machine. But it just didn't work. Hm...it certainly was good timing. Just sad that I need to re-purchase another rice cooker.

Considering the functions, features and customer service, this product is good value for the money. The pot is made of multi-layer heavy gauge metal. The drawback is on the confusing display and setting controls, not quite the same as in the instruction manual. After contacting customer service the issue is clarified. I gave it a four star because for something they can improve on.

We previously had a Japanese rice cooker (tiger) and it cooked rice then would default to “keep warm” and the rice would last 4-5 days (not burn or smell). This rice cooker will cook rice but the rice will start burning after 10 hrs of it defaulting to “keep warm”. Also when you turn it off and it cools down it gets so much moisture in the rice cooker that the rice that didn’t burn turns to mush.We eat rice pretty much every meal so we cook a lot of rice at one time. So that it will last a couple days. If you like cooking rice and waiting the 20 mins for each meal then this rice cooker will work.It only got a 3* because it has many options.Changing to 2* rice cooker is going on the fritz seems like a wiring issue and it’s not even a year old. Very disappointed!

I have been searching for a rice cooker with a steamer for my cottage because my old one had the extra function which comes in handy. I do have a Zojirushi rice cooker too but it doesn’t have the steamer and the cooked rice comes out just okay so I wanted to try other brand. After I used this rice cooker I fellIn love it right away. The rice tasted really good and the price is good too. Plus it cooks plenty of rice for a bunch of people. Great product!

This rice cooker cook rice very well and it really comes down to what you would like to purchase and the capabilities needed. Perfect for 2-5 people and easy to clean up. The steam won’t mess the cooker around and so easy to use. Different functionality (White rice, Claypot rice, Steam, Stew, Soup, etc.) satisfies everyday use. Also the rice comes out of this rice cooker always with tasty texture.
