Differential Cover Compatible for Dana #44

The cover fit perfectly on my Dana 60 on my 1970 Chevy K20 Pickup

Did not fit and wrong bolts. So after thoroughly prepping everything and putting gasket sealer on, come to find out that over half of the bolts are too long. Not only that, turns out the front stabilizer bar hits the cover and on a 72 jimmy with 44” tires, I dont think there is any way to modify it to make it fit with out really extensive fabrication. So after cleaning off all the fresh gasket sealer, I wasn’t sure if I could return it or not even thought I got it 99% back to normal. I decided to take my chances and grind down the cooling fins where the stabilizer bar was hitting. I also purchased all new hardware as it was taking me forever to grind down the screws a 1/4” to make them fit. So after all that, it appears that it’s going to fit. It currently just touches the cover when I turn full right but once I reinstall the new front stabilizer shocks, it should hold the bar up straight and it will just clear by a 1/16-1-8” which is all I need. Very disappointed that supposedly one of the best covers out there than be sold with the wrong bolts and not fit with out modifying.
