The stool really is beautiful and the style fits in with our decor perfectly. My only complaint about this stool is that it is a tad short. And that's really complaint about myself, nothing to do with the stool. The stool is 12 inches tall, exactly as advertised. I knew I needed something short, and not too big in diameter, to tuck in-between a couch and love seat to act as a side table for beverages, saw this and thought it would be perfect - 12 inches, that's short! Yeah, I didn't actually measure to see what 12 inches actually looks like against the furniture. Turns out it looks ridiculous. No stars deducted for the stool being exactly what it said it was! It's very sturdy, looks fantastic, and a great size that is easily moved from place to place around the living room, serving where, and as, it is needed. It's a real utility player and is great height for a foot stool (too short for sitting though) and still works as a beverage holder next to the couch when I'm reclined and too lazy to sit up and use the coffee table like a refined human. Now if I could just find this in a 16"-18" height, I'd get that too!

Love it! I wanted to raise our large Golden Retriever’s dish, but didn’t want to sacrifice style.

I bought 3 of these hoping to use them together but they are not the same exact height or width. On had round edges two had square edges. I returned them and had to pay 20% to do so, buyer beware.

I expected slight imperfections but I did not expect chips, deep scratches or gouges throughout. Very disappointed in quality. Too bad seller didn't disclose that these are seconds (or thirds) with inferior workmanship. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is the price was what I could afford. It just would have been nice to expect true condition of piece.
