Very nice sturdy placemats. Love the smell of them.

I was concerned about the smell that one or two reviews mentioned, but obviously they don’t realize what camphor laurel smells like...it smells like the tree it came from very aromatic.The smell does disappear after awhile.They’re well made, and look great....unless you don’t like natural grain and color.I bought two more sets.Recommended as long as you know the scent....it’s not a chemical scent, it’s natural.

Yes, right out of the box there is a strong smell of camphor. But, in my experience, it quickly dissipates. In a short time, to detect it, you'll have to hold them up to your nose. Besides that, you can make it virtually disappear by putting a light coating or two of paste wax on them. They are beautiful -- more so than bamboo -- sturdy and nicely finished.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these bamboo placements. They look and smell amazing. Easy to clean and the scent is long-lasting. I wish I could buy the scent so I can refresh them now and then. So glad I found these.

The new house has granite countertops, got these to use for putting hot pots on, use as a base for a cutting gel, etc etc. They work perfectly. Sturdy, fold up for small storage. Couldn't ask for more.

This item is perfect!! We have a large ottoman with a cushion top and needed something to set drinks on. We keep this filed in half under the ottoman and just grab it when needed. Its durable and great for drinks. I highly recommend this item. Also, I noticed a bit of a smell when first opened but it was pleasant. I haven't noticed any odor since.

I know these are supposed to be fragrant but the smell is over powering. It's like a menthol cough drop and actually transfers to whatever touches it. I have to wash my hand right after touching them. I tried leaving them out on my dinning room table to air out for over a week but they still smell strongly. Other than the smell they seem nice but haven't really had a chance to use them.

These are incredible. They have a delicate smell. The cloth is securely glued to the wood, so there aren’t any metal hinges that could rust. It rolls up easily. You can lay it flat or lay it over the armrest of your couch and it adjusts really well. Love them!

めちゃくちゃおしゃれ！半分に畳んで収納してます。厚みがあるのでお皿は全てマット内に収めないといけないです。確かに木の香りがしますが気にならない匂いです。ヒノキみたいな匂いがします。

部屋ではソファとローテーブルで過ごしています。時折スナックを食べたりするのですが床にポロポロこぼして汚してしまうのでマット代わりに買いました。初めは木の香りが強いですが後に消えます。ウエットティッシュなどで拭くとまた香りがします。独特の香りではありますが天然の木の香りで私は嫌いではありません。クルクル丸めて片付けられてとても便利です。オススメ

届いた日から日なたにさらしておいたが3日目までには鼻を近付けてやっと香るぐらいの匂いに落ち着いた。頑丈だし作りもそう悪くは無い。

この度はお世話になりました。木目調でデザインがオシャレでした。物も置きやすく安定感もバッチリです。洗ったりは抵抗感がありますが汚れたら拭いて使いたいと思います。また二つに折ることができるのがniceです。リビングテーブルに置きましたが部屋の雰囲気も上品になり大満足しております。お店の方の対応も素早かったです。また是非購入させて頂きたいと思います。ありがとうございました。
