OrientKamasu/Mako III Men's Automatic Manual Winding Sports Steel or Silicone Divers' Watch with Screw Crown and Sapphire Crystal, Blue, 40mm, Bracelet

After looking for a watch for many weeks and realizing that there are so many different levels and price points for watches I was super confused. I did not understand what caused the watches to be priced so differently. Amazon has a bunch of nice and expensive watches. They also have a bunch of cheap Chinese homage watches that look nice but in the end are not the real thing. I did some research and decided that I wanted an automatic watch that had a sapphire crystal. Youtube video after Youtube video mentioned Orient Mako 2 and Ray 2. These were beautiful and were priced really well. I wanted the sapphire crystal so I chose the Orient Kamasu. I could not be happier. This thing is classy, has heft and has the internals that show real craftmanship. There are many watches that you can get but for the $207 I spent I am confident I got the best for the price.

The watch is VERY, VERY GOOD. I am very pleased with it.However, the first watch shipped was stolen from UPS, and I had to request a second. This one was combined with my charcoal filters, so the watch box, the inside box, and the box was covered in abrasive charcoal dust. Not acceptable. No visible damage to the watch, just a few micro scratches to the case, the sapphire crystal is fine. So, the seller's not at fault, Amazon Shipping definitely is. First real quality automatic diver purchase, and the Orient Kamasu is all around amazing. 41mm but wears well on my large wrist, beautiful bezel, nice weight- and versatile enough to wear swimming, at work, or to a nice event. The in house F6922 movement has stayed accurate , only gaining or losing 9 seconds a month for me (thats on par with a higher caliber 6R Seiko movement, but for way less money. Plus- sapphire crystal, screw down crown, 200m water resistance from a quality watch maker- you won't find this in any watch until stepping up to a more expensive Seiko Turtle or Tissot.Honestly, this is the best bang for buck for an automatic diver, and I recommend Orient to anyone looking to get into decent watches.

I Bought a Orient which I own several, an they are mostly very nice and well made but this one there was something wrong with the stem. It was very hard to turn which made it hard to adjust the time. I was very disappointed. I had received it to late to return it and so I am stuck. Orient makes a great product and I have always been very happy with my purchase except for this watch. After six weeks of wearing this watch I have found that made a big mistake! I love this watch and whay I thought was bad I was wrong! I know better,I should have given this great watch a chance. I thought the stem was bad and would not operate correctly but I must have been drunk. I put the watch away and thought of sending it back but I later got the watch out and found that I had been wrong, it works great and I have been enjoying it for weeks now. I am sorry to have miss lead anyone who may have listened to my review. I apologize.

El producto es excelente. Coincide ampliamente con las buenas revisiones que se encuentran en la web. El único defecto es la iluminación nocturna de las horas. Nos es tan intensa y se disuelve rápidamente. De todas formas es un reloj que aconsejo mucho.

This watch is as nice (some may argue nicer) than new seiko 5 models. It does everything it’s supposed to and looks great doing it! The blue dial is absolutely beautiful when the light hits it. I like wearing it when we go swimming and it’s never leaked water in it. Great value for a great daily driver watch. 10/10 would buy again if it ever broke beyond repair.

Sapphire crystal and fully mechanical for 200 dollars! What’s not to like

My favorite watch so far. Love the deep blue dial! Subtle, but shimmers nice in brighter conditions. Bezel is just "different" enough with the cuts in it without looking awkward or clunky. I wish it were ceramic for scratch resistance but so far so good (and under 300 bucks I'm not complaining). Smacked into stuff already a few times and no scratches on bezel or crystal either because sapphire! The lume lasts awhile, and is visible more often than I'm used to, really cool. And the indices are nice too. Wears light but not unsubstantial. Really cant say enough good about it.
