A Delightful Read
I have read a number of books by Goel this year. And have profited considerably. It is now being widely discussed that the Indian history that we grew up reading is not the faithful narrative of the events that have taken place over the millennia. It is the version of Indian history that Nehruvian historians have put forth – for motives which are far removed from being academic. Well, not everybody agrees that distortion of history-writing has taken place. And that is because of the stranglehold of these left liberals over the media, academia and the intelligentsia. Sita Ram Goel is one of those first historians who have undertaken this task of correcting the wrong. How I Became a Hindu is his story. And it is a fascinating story. From being a Gandhian to a Communist to a Socialist to a staunch critic of Communism to finally a Sanatani – it is an eventful journey. As a postscript, Goel has added a chapter on what he calls the Nightmare of Nehruism. His first-hand account of the working of the Nehruism makes for illuminating reading. Considering Goel’s immense erudition, a bibliography would have been a treasure house for interested readers. Goel’s autobiography is a delightful read.

The first step into knowing this erudite scholar of India
I came to him from Dr Koenraad Elst's book "Hindu dharma and the culture wars". I had heard Sita Ram Goel's name far too many times to ignore it this time. His famous book on the Hindu temples and what happened to them, would undoubtedly be on every history enthusiasts' list. But it helps to know the man first before going through his claims.Sita Ram Goel has been framed to be a muzlim hating person by the intellectual squads whom he exposed. But through this book, he clarifies his every stance. He talks about Nehru, Gandhi, Marx, BJS, BJP, VHP, RSS, Communists, etc.I loved going through the book and look forward to diving deep into his other works, along with Ram swarup's as well.Speedy delivery from Amazon. and the most secure packaging ever! Thanks and highly recommended.

Story of ideological journey/autobiography of Sitaram Goyal
This book can be rightly termed as autobiography of Shri Sitaram Goel. As Dr. Rajeev Mishra (U.K.) rightly says that in the textbooks Communism is so fascinating and appealing that every young mind gets attracted towards it. The author was also born when the idea of communism was new to the world. As the title says, the book describe the author’s journey from communist to sanatani. In the chapter ‘Nightmare of Nehruism’ the author talks about the self alienated hindu, who felt privileged when employed in some muslim establishment during Islamic rule. Although they had not converted but they had become Trojan horse of Islamic imperialism and worked for pulling down the cultural defences of their own people. The same class walked over to british side and thereon to congress party after independence. They hold key positions in government and continued to pull down everything that was attached to hindu culture. Nehru could come on top because of this class only. Then came a Nehruvian formula that Hindu should stand accused in every situation, no matter who is real culprit. How Nehru lived in different world and in spite of knowing situation in China, went on presenting fairy picture of China. The book shows lowly public behaviour of Nehru.Earlier the author had thought that as the BJS-RSS are the organisation of opposite idea and people had perception of about BJS-RSS being supportive of hindu cause. But author found it surprising that they also hesitated supporting hindu cause and they presented nothing alternate but same theory of socialism and nehruism. In the last the author had opined that the building of new Ram Temple could wait till such time as the BJP got a mandate from the people which came to be true. I am loving reading Sitaram Goel.

Wounderful
Sri Sita Ram Goel has written the true history. He is a stalwart figure. My regards to him. Also the pay my regards and tributes to Mr Ram Swarup( his mentor), Arun Shourie, Dr Harsh Narayan, K.S Lal, Koenraad Elst, and many more( forgive me for not mentioning their names). But I can sense the name list of true historians are going to increase. My regards and tributes to all of them. The NCERT must replace the books of the false historians and replace with these. Let the future generation know the true history which has been suppressed for long by the fake JNU historians (sons and daughters of Karl Marx). Still they are extremely arrogant and adamant in their nature. Yes they are propagating false propaganda (not history) and when they are confronted they have no answer. So they become rude. They have made much money from the foreign. This is high time to overthrow them.

Must read for every Hindu. Touches upon the severe injustice and loosing battle of hindus
I am a Hindu-Atheist who used to hate hinduism because of all the mistakes(genuine and the fakely created ones) in my religion. It is only after i started reading about the abrahmic religions that i learned that as said by Ambedkar, these 2 religions have all the problems of hinduism and a 1000 more. SitaRam Goel talks about his own such experience thereby justifying the title and makes some striking observations such as how hindus are blaming muslims instead of the source islam and touches upon how even RSS is not making the right case for hindus. The book introduces RamSwarup whose books i will be buying especially "Understanding islam through hadis". This book also shows how the situation of hindus has remained the same since the 20s and even before. Will be buying his other books as well. A must read.

This book is meant for anyone who has a thinking brain and is curious to know what being a Hindu means.Mr. Sita Ram Goel has a way with words and is an author par excellence.I wish the book was longer and contained more details as given in the 'Nightmare of Nehruism' chapter.PS : The book has some minor typos which should not be there as this really is a lovely book.
