This book is good for diploma students... To the point explanation which makes the book thin (as bulky book makes student's confidence low). I think you can score about 60%-80% marks in your term/semester end examination by going through this book.Those who like to go in depth of the subject should not buy this (this is the reason why it is INTRODUCTION TO BAIC MANUFACTURING PROCESS). However, LET ME MENTION HERE that I have prepared my notes of MP for RRB JE 2019 from this book only and was able to solve almost 90% questions in the mock tests from the topics that were in the book ( related to exam).To sum upOnly for diploma or JE level exam ( state or central) - good bookDetailed study ( Btech/ M.tech/Gate/ES) - not suitable.

Best all round book I could find for budding engineers . Good basic book covering many subjects
