Light and Super Packable
The Berghaus Gortex pants are SO comfortable! I had to order them quite large to fit over wool long underwear and heavy duty ski pants with tall BOGS boots. I needed to be able to get in and out of Zodiacs with water landings in South Georgia and the Falklands in freezing water, wet and windy conditions. I think these will do the trick! Gortex is definitely needed in those conditions...and it's great that these come in short length too. Quality workmanship. Full zippers are a must. These are fantastic!

High quality, high performance rain pants.
After trying on countless rain pants: women's, men's, short, petite, regular various sizes, these pants are winners! They fit great, you can move easily, the zippers are sturdy and very useful. Both for pulling on over boots or venting while hiking. They kept me warm and dry!The only thing I wish they had is pockets. As the zipper on the hip starts a little below my typicaln hiking pants pocket.

Lightweight but wind and water resistent
I used these pants in a downpour and stayed totally dry. I also used them on an extremely windy day and was not bothered by the wind. They are very easy to get on and adjust the ankles tightness. That made it possible to wait to the last minute before deciding to put them on.

Rain and wind don’t stand a chance.
The weight of these pants is remarkable. The packability is a real pleasure. Water and wind resistance cannot be beat, not to mention the quality of construction. my wife loved these on our travels to the arctic north.

Waterproof - YES!!
I ordered a few sizes larger than what I wear.... because I was wearing them over bulky warm clothes. These worked great. I fished a black bass tournament in them for 12 hours - it was pouring down rain the entire time. I was as dry at the end of the day as I was when I put them on. These pants are great and worth their price.

These pants are not waterproof! They leak like a sieve.
I used these pants for a sport called dragon boating. It's a paddling sport. We go out year round. Being Gortex, I expected to stay dry. After 2 months, I was getting wet all the way through and it wasn't sweat. We paddle in rain all the time.

Glad I bought them
These are lightweight, durable, waterproof, look nice, and easy to zip over boots. I wish the zippers were a little sturdier, they get caught in the material every once in awhile. Not a big deal though, 5 Stars!

Just awesome
I hiked the west heigland way in rainy Scotland. It's a 7 day 95 mile hike and I wasn't wet a single day!

Great buy
Tired of walking about in trousers that absorb the water from the bottom up when it rains and then proceed to soak my shoes, I bought these Gortex ones despite the cost (they were far more expensive in local shops) and I am extremely pleased with their capability. They are over trousers but as the weather is so warm (but often very wet at the moment) I have worn them without trousers underneath and they are so light and cool. The sides have a zip that you can undo for extra air circulation and although they are more wide down the legs with nothing underneath, they look just fine, they aren't meant to be a fashion statement anyway, The bottoms also have a button to make them tighter if necessary. I am a standard size 12 and this size fits me perfectly. Would thoroughly recommend.

Good trousers, don’t rustle
I bought these for wearing in Iceland for walking and occasional boat trips. They replaced some from another brand that let in water in 20 minutes, although labelled waterproof not just showerproof. These Goretex ones are light, comfortable to wear and repel water easily. They don’t rustle. The side zips go right up so it’s easy to get them on or off over boots. Although light, they are wind proof too. I’m very pleased with them. They are a little short, slipping up if you sit down and exposing the ankle. I ordered short because I’m 5’4”, but medium may have been better.

WaterProof
They looked fine but I returned them as I’m only 5 ft and didn’t want to pay twice the amount to get a shorter size so took a chance. They were much too long. I’m a size 10 but found the waist too tight and that was without trousers underneath. I’m at an age where I can’t stand anything tight around my waste so they weren’t for me

Top class waterproof trousers
I ordered a size 10 - which is my normal trouser size. I am 5ft 5ins and the length is perfect. Tested out on a 7hr hike with torrential rain & 50mph winds over Cadair Idris. The trousers passed! Very comfortable with plenty of stretching space to hoist those legs up screes, ridges and stiles!

Kept me warm and dry in the Scottish Highlands
Bought these trousers before hiking the West Highland Way and climbing Ben Nevis. They did an excellent job of keeping out the rain and wind in challenging conditions. The rain on the outside of the trousers would dry really quickly and they also got less muddy than my partner’s trousers. Compared to my previous, cheaper rain trousers they’re much easier to take on and off, due to the full length zipper, and also roll up really small, taking up next to no space in the backpack. They also look relatively good for rain over trousers (which are never the sexiest piece of kit). Overall really pleased with my purchase and would recommend them.
