This is potentially a great product. However, the weld of the rod to the support is higher than the product images shows and this is problematic in two ways. The unit does not collapse as much as it should. And, the higher weld means greater stress on the weld which will likely weaken the product more quickly over time. Curious if other customers are also receiving products with this design change or if we got a lemon...?

The product arrived completely bent/warped, but unfortunately I didn't realize this until earlier this week, when I opened the box (which looked totally fine). The item didn't arrive damaged, this is the way it was actually made because the welding itself is the problem. It's outside the window to return or ask for a refund so I'll basically have to eat the cost, which totally sucks, but whatever. I guess it's my fault for not opening the box and inspecting the product. Thought I didn't have to if the package it arrived in and the box is comes in looks totally undamaged. But this was a result of shoddy quality control and workmanship.

Very handy product, especially for provided a hanging rod in the laundry room. I use the rod to hang clothes as I remove them from the dryer. I do not have a separate Landry room, but this rod may be used with the swinging door enclosing my washer and dryer.The device hangs from the top edge of the door. Would have been nice to have a piece of adhesives backed elastomer to apply to the surface of that portion of the device contacting the top and other surfaces of the door in which it is hung. Would assist in preventing scratching of the door and prevent the device from sliding once it has been hung.

I live in a 386 sqft micro studio apartment and I need every ounce of storage and space that I can get. I have a lot of clothing items that require hang drying, but I didn’t want to the gnarley dry rack because it takes up too much space to use and to store. I LOVE THIS ITEM! I hang it over the doorway of my washer and dryer and it clanks open easily. I am able to hang all of my delicates and gym clothes on the rack. I love that when not in use, it doesn’t take up any additional space; I just close the rack and close the door. Such a great invention!

This item was easy to assemble and seems strong enough to hold quite a few pieces of clothing. The only thing that would make it better would be some sort of padding to protect the door on which it is hung. (We added some self-adhesive weatherstripping so it wouldn't make marks on our freshly-painted door.)

I needed a new laundry hanger as the old one disappeared when we had some projects done around the house. This looks so much nicer than the one we had, it collapses like the old one did and is much sturdier. We did add some cushions where it lays against the door so it doesn't scratch the door and is quieter, but otherwise this is fantastic!!

I have a tiny laundry room and I like to hang the clothes fresh out of the dryer. I had a contraption that I used that broke so after searching I found this one and it is perfect. I love using it. It is easy to close up when done hanging and just as easy to pull out to hang. I've done a few loads of laundry since receiving it and it holds up to the heavy jeans. I would totally recommend this product to anyone looking for a way to make laundry even more fun to do!

Lightweight...i was expecting it to be more of a heavy weight metal like stainless steel so I was disappointed about how cheap it felt and looked. Also it said it had up to 23 inch of hanging space on the bar but I measured 21 inches. I am able to use it for hanging and drying my wet clothes From the washing machine ok....time wel tell how long it lasts.
