CasioMQ24-1B 3-Hand Analog Water Resistant Watch

Simple, good value watch
Note: pay attention to the product description--this watch has a small (<35mm) face and a fairly narrow strap by today's standards. I like the style, others used to large watches may not.Very light and slim. The band is comfortable but it is plastic so definitely not a luxurious feel. Just a very good value watch--keeps very accurate time, easy to read, don't have to worry about scratching or breaking it, time setting mechanism functions well, reliable. Also, this watch is very slim which is nice for keeping it concealed under a shirt sleeve. I love it! For <$10 you can't go wrong. The seller originally shipped me the wrong item (I was sent the MQ24-1B3 which has a slightly different face), but was very helpful in resolving the issue. I was sent a return shipping label and the correct item was shipped out before I sent the incorrect one back. Great service!

I HATE BRAND NAMES BUT I LOVE CASIO WATCHES
Due to some weird kind of aversion to it, I even actively try to avoid stuff that has brand names and logos on it. I don't even want to admit I have favorite paper towels or toilet paper. But I f with their watches. They're cheap as hell, minimalist but kinda cute and very sturdy. I am a nurse and will sometimes even wash the watch while I'm washing my hands. Never any issues with any of them leaking. (I lost one in the past and melted a strap on accident, otherwise I would probably still have them [to be fair, I am a psych nurse so I probably don't wash my hands AS MUCH with soap and water].) I love that this one has military time, because I'm not used to it but will have to be in my new job. Their watches are all pretty "unisex" looking but if any of the chunky ones like this turn you off there are daintier styles, hold up just as well.

great watch, especially for the price
Watch works well, and most importantly keeps track of time efficiently. Have had the watch for over 4 months now, have worn it daily, and hasn't failed me, just a single quick adjustment by roughly 5 minutes every month or so. also adjusting is not difficult at all. It's quite light and is comfortable to me, so i often will forget it's on my wrist when concentrating on something. I haven't had any issues trying to keep it on or taking it off my wrist Ive heard some people complain about how small it is, and it does appear to be a bit smaller than other watches Ive seen, but i have no issue with mine due to my relatively small wrists (about 7 inches around), and i have mine clipped in the middle-most notch when wearing it Its fairly easy to read the 12-hour numbers, but don't expect glow in the dark, its just metallic (which is what i was looking for so no complaints), and when i would be out at night i would need to wait to get closer to the street lighting to see. the 24-hour numbers though are quite small and faint, so don't expect to really read them in relatively dark conditions (wasn't a big deal to me). Ticking of watch is completely unnoticeable and have to put close to the ear just to hear said ticking

Casios are always great products
When my husband suddenly developed a rash when he wore his metal backed watch we needed to find something else. Casio is a household name so we gave this watch a try. It’s light weight and comfortable and has solved the rash problem. Very well priced and arrived next day. The only thing that would make it more to his liking would be if the face illuminated in the dark.

Great cheap watch
I love this watch. I've had it for a year and wear it everyday, but it was originally bought for kayaking trips. It's been splashed on and dunked more times than I can count, with no issues. The accuracy is close enough, other than time changes I haven't had to adjust anything as it remains within maybe 10sec from the actual time I sync it to. It's a great timepiece for $10-15, nothing fancy, just shows you the time (and direction, if you point the hour hand to the sun, South is halfway between the hour hand and 12:00, just a little outdoors tip). Being so cheap, I won't cry if it breaks, but it has perfectly served its purpose.Update: After just about a year of heavy usage, which included a dozen kayak or camping trips, swimming with it in rivers, bashing it on rocks, getting bug spray on the glass, and many other abuses, the watch finally gave out on me and stopped working. To be honest, I intentionally put this through the ringer to see what it could handle, and I'm still pleased. How am I going to fix this situation? Easy, I'll just buy another one for $12! I'll still spend less in ten years than I would on one primo watch that I'd be constantly worried about breaking. Pretty much the same argument we have at work about Snap-On tools vs. cheap cash register impulse-buy tools for $3.NEXT UPDATE: The above problem turned out to be simply a dead battery. It has continued to work until this day, but sadly the one part that went out was the wrist strap. It just was overused and wore apart, so that's a total count of just-shy of FOUR years of heavy daily abuse. Time to buy another duplicate!

Not very moisture resistant
I never submerged it, but after getting some dirt on the face I gave it a quick splash of water to clean it off. After, whenever I put the watch on it the inside of the face fogs up. This seems to fix itself after a few days but happens again if i wash my hands or sweat, so there must be a gap somewhere. It seems to accumulate small scratches over time because the face cover is plastic. It’s a shame because this series of watches punches way, WAY above it’s price in terms of style and comfort. I even got compliments on it. But if you have thick wrists it might look too small. Because the hands are silver on black it’s surprisingly easier to read at night than I expected if you’re around streetlights, etc.Overall if you need a watch for cheap, this will do. It’s nice to have something I won’t feel terrible about breaking when I’m being more active that I can leave on for work or going out

Water got in the watch
This watch was great until water got into it and now does not work. It is not water resistant.
