I love these hooks. I make crochet octopuses in cotton. A lot of hooks split the yarn but it doesn’t happen with these hooks. When you look at the size and shape of the handles they look big and you can’t imagine the shape to help you but they really do help. The group I crochet for use a lot of different brands and there’s usually some one showing how their hook has snapped. No one has ever showed a broken addi hook

I love Addi hooks. The large handle means that my hand doesn't get sore and crampy, the slightly heavier handle moves easily and saves my wrist. I'm so pleased these smaller sizes are now available. I've used other hooks with smaller, or no handles and this is so much easier.

The hook snapped out of the handle within a day, that said: I was using it for dreadlock maintenance rather than actual crochet (hence why I didn't pursue a refund as obviously that's not it's intended use) but it's really not fit for dreadlock maintenance.The handle is, however, extremely comfortable to use.

I actually use this to keep my dreadlocks tidy and it does the trick perfectly. The handle makes it easy on the hands and is a high quality product.

I can only speak from my own personal experience using it for dreadlocks. It broke after about 30 minutes of use. Your mileage may vary and I may have gotten unlucky, but with other cheaper and better options in the market, I cannot recommend this product for dreadlock maintenance.

Fanulous product and find it suits my arthritic hands. I now have several.
