Fli Underground FU6C-F1 6.5-Inch 210 Watt Peak Component Speaker System with Crossover with 70 Watt RMS Speaker (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

So. I bought these on a leap of faith hoping they weren't pieces of junk. I was glad to find they were not. However the description isn't very good.70w RMS PEAK power. the RMS is like 20-70w so I had thought they were more powerful then they turned out to be.They are being powered with  Crunch Power Zone PZA900.4 4 Channel Amplifier 115 x 4 @ 4 OHMS, 225 x 4 @ 2 OHMS - 450 x 2 @ 4 OHMS with Illuminated Badge  and a Sony head unit.They sound fine. the Highs are good, the mids are ok. I expected a bit more bass out of a component set but i have two 8" sub woofers so i don't care. and if you adjust them with the head unit they sound good. my car also isn't very good for speakers.1.FIT: I discovered that they don't fit in the standard 6 1/2 inch space. i had to make a custom stand off. you can buy similar things but I would rather make a perfectly fitted one. I also need to make sure they would not hit the window. because they are deeper then i thought they would be too. so i used 3/4" MDS and made it based off of the one that was already in there which i think was the stock form.2.CROSSOVERS: there is no Highs reducer or amplifier on the crossovers. the crossovers are very small and rudimentary. I looked into getting a different after market set of crossovers but they are kinds pricy. The crossovers fit inside my doors behind and to the side of the speakers.3. WIRING: the wiring is kinda weird. the insulation on the wires is very soft. I wasn't impressed. I didn't need wire strippers to take the insulation off, I used my finger nails. so if you really wanted to you could open the crossover up and change out the wires with other better wires. I didn't bothers.4. TWEETERS. The tweets came with a variety of methods to attach them to your car. you can flush or surface mount. i chose to surface mount because i didn't want to cut holes in my doors. They sound just fine. At times the highs can be over bearing but most of them time, after doing a little adjusting with the settings, they sound great. no distortion.I took a leap of faith with these cause they were super cheap for components. I think i got them for like 39. I don't remember. I do not regret my purchase.I do recommend them for people with a budget. I listen to all kinds of music, Rock, Country, Classical, Pop, Books on tape, Techno, barbershop, they all sound good on these speakers. This is a company from England which is why you may not have heard of them in USA.
