 I purchased this product because I have to spray front yard and back yard. Most of the hose I bought was broken from middle part and hard to put together. This hose is very soft even in thinking if it is firm enough or spray strong enough. As the video, the hose will grow bigger when u turn on the water, and there is a switch for the water, it can be turned off and showers, I don’t need to buy an extra shower nozzle. Washer can be sprayed far. Hope it can works for a long time. It looks good for now.

This is the first hose of this type that I have purchased or even tried. I absolutely love it! It has always been difficult for me to water my plants with a traditional 75 or 100 foot hose because of the weight. I just can't pull anything that heavy. This hose is not only light in weight but stretches itself out and retracts itself when done. It appears to me that the volume of water is the same but it is just lighter and easier to handle. The price is reasonable and the hose is great. 5 stars!

My TruTec expandable garden hose arrived today and I was anxious to give it a try. I have been using another (well known and highly advertised) expandable hose for many years. From my personal experience, these hoses usually last, at most, about two watering seasons. Wear and tear of the outer fabric lining results in a weak spot in the lining which eventually causes a bubble to form in the inner latex core. Then it's just a matter of time before the latex core bursts and the hose fails. Therefore, the most important feature I was I looking for with the TruTec hose is DURABILITY. I attached the TruTec hose to the water faucet which is located on the side of my house next to the concrete driveway. When the water pressure is turned on, I have to drag the hose across the driveway to the areas I need to water. The performance of the TruTec hose was positive in the sense that it expanded easily and measured close to 50 feet in length. The water pressure was as good as any of my other expandable/retractable garden hoses. I was also impressed that the TruTec hose easily retracted to its original length. But there was a negative observation. I inspected the hose after the water had drained and the hose had fully retracted. To my disappointment, several minor frayed areas in the outer fabric appeared along the length of the hose. The fact that these frays were noticeable after the first use definitely lowers my confidence about durability. For that reason, I am only giving the TruTec hose a 3-star review. I intend to carefully monitor this frayed condition and will update my review, as appropriate. To lessen further damage to the hose fabric lining I will try to minimize dragging it across the concrete driveway. But that is not the way I should have to use a garden hose. Thankfully, the company's motto is: "One unhappy customer is one too many."UPDATE (June 10, 2018): I have increased my rating of this hose from 3 to 4 Stars. After using the hose for one month, the initial fraying has increased slightly along the length of the hose. But that sparse fraying has not split any of the outside material. So far the hose has performed as advertised. I do like the quality of the brass fittings. There are no leaks at the fittings.

I was so happy to toss my old, heavy, bulky garden hose and have this wonderful upgrade. For people for large backyards, you get tired of lugging around a heavy hose trying to water all your plants everywhere. This hose was a lifesaver and I'm looking forward to using it all summer. It wraps up nicely when I'm done using it and I can just toss it and forget about it until the next day. Overall I would recommend this item since it is super light and seemingly durable when it expands and gets dragged around all over the yard and I can put it back right in a small space.

I was in need of another hose and have a similar style hose and very muvh enjoy it. This is as good if not better than that name brand hose. It has a very functional nozzle that allows stoppage of water which is something the name brand hose does not have. This is very compact and easy to store as in these winter months, but also easy to pull out to wash the car, wet something down, etc., on those nicer winter days. The color is also a selling point as I think it just pops and looks great. Overall a great product I look forward to using in the garden and around the house.

This hose is perfect for so many things. I can keep it in the front of my house to water all of my flowers and not have to deal with winding it back up or yanking a heavy traditional hose around. I can also easily unhook it and bring it to the back to water my tomatoes and it is SO light to carry. Also love that I dont have to spray it forever to get the hot water out like I do if I leave the traditional hose in the sun.

First of all, who wouldn't like a 50 foot garden hose that fits in a padded envelope inside your mailbox? I couldn't wait until it warmed up enough to go outside and hook this new hose up and see just how well it held up. It performed just as well as my cumbersome rubber hose that I've been hauling around for years. The big difference though, is that this new one will store right inside a flower pot in my shed next fall and for that alone, I'm thrilled. I'd recommend this one to anybody looking to save some storage space.

This hose is lightweight- it makes it easy to use all over my yard. I love the flexibility of it and there is no kinking of the hose.It is reasonably priced.It fit easily onto the outside faucet.The on/off valve is a real plus!
