Olive oil soap is great for skin. I use these bars for a hand soap. As long as I don't allow them to sit in water they last a long time and I wash my hands quite often.

I’ve been exclusively using locally hand made soaps for nearly a decade now. Recently I’ve been traveling and I ran out. Afraid of trusting others questionable concoctions, I looked for a simple quality bar I can order any time. I had low expectations and even ordered a few different brands.This bar is really impressive, honestly. It doesn’t have a lasting scent, just a natural smell when washing, but that’s kind of the point. It’s a plain bar for sensitive skin. No palm oil, vegan, good lather, leaves skin clean, hypoallergenic. Seems too simple to go wrong and that’s why I bought it. If you want fancy scents this isn’t it, but I don’t need them for this purpose.While I try and buy local whenever possible, this is a really good alternative, and I will continue to keep these bars on hand.

This soap is gentle but EFFECTIVE! Never felt cleaner from a soap in my life! Squeaky clean! No residue in hair and I’ve also used it with a brush for dishes and it rinses super clean !!!! I have already given out three out of my six bars so it’s time to re order. The smell is gentle, clean and not at all strong, or obnoxious.... not at all. I have had the soap almost two weeks and I’m still on the same bar and I’ve used it in everyday showers, on my hands and in my hair and once for dishes and I’m not even halfway through.I will be making the switch to this soap exclusively. My husband has the most rediculously sensitive skin and any kind of fragrance or herb oil breaks him out and I gave him a bar this soap is his new favorite he even got a little soap lifter for it to help keep it solid between uses. Lol my 13 year old also prefers it and said it makes her skin so much softer, which we all agree it does for each of us!If you’re on the fence.... do it! For your skins sake!

Love this olive oil soap. My skin is softer and I love the natural earthy aroma. I’ve even washed my short hair with it. I’m a fan.

I have bought this soap 5 times and plan to continue buying it in the future. I use it for body and hair. The purest, simplest-ingredients REAL soap you can find for the best price! I've bought from various sellers in the past 7 years and know good Mediterranean soap, have traveled extensively in Turkey and bought from the markets. Yes, it will be slippery - because it's real soap with no chemicals. Yes, it smells fresh, non-intrusive, heavenly - because it's real soap from olive oil like soap is meant to be. No animals or habitat were destroyed in the process and you'll be hard pressed to find a non-palm oil soap these days. Yes, it changes color as you go through the bar, absolutely like real soap made the traditional way is meant to be. Yes, it is hard enough yet soft enough, which means it was dried sufficiently so lasts well and doesn't go mushy, but it isn't like other versions that feel like a rock. Yes, it employs people with the honorable task of maintaining an old art and bringing to the world non-toxic skin care. A real jewel in the West!Had broken-package issue and the seller responded immediately giving me double credit for the missing bar. The customer service was outstanding like only Turkish people can deliver.

I have used olive and laurel oil based soaps for years to shave my face every other day. Close shave and skin is moisturized. Definitely recommend this for shaving, much better than any canned cream or gel.

This is an OK soap, and not wildly expensive. I bought it because I could not find the SAIFAN soap from Lebanon that I love. This works well, lathering up nicely and leaving the skin soft. The smell, however, is decidedly unpleasant. I make soap myself, from olive and coconut oil. I have never used laurel oil, so don't know if soap made with laurel oil always smells like this. But it is a chemical smell. I intended to give some as gifts, but decided against that. I would not buy these again.

I’ve deliberately waited awhile before reviewing this item. I’ve been using the Aleppo soap for over a month now and I really like it. I had a lot of dry skin and my hair (long, fine, blonde) was having a lot of knots because of a recent surgery. I don’t know why my skin and hair do this after surgery, happens every time. With just a couple uses both my hair and skin were doing much better. Dry skin is so much better and I haven’t even needed to use conditioner on my hair. My son has dry skin bumps on his upper arms and this soap has really helped with that as well. All this seems a little weird because there aren’t any lotions or conditioners in the soap. It just cleans stuff. My theory is that it removes residues that cause problems. Anyway I love the stuff. I should mention that my 9 year old thinks it stinks, and hates it when we open a new package.

My first purchase of this soap, but I am very happy that I did. Good product. I even washed my hair with it.My hubby loves the it too.Yes I would recommend Aleppo soap.

This is one of the nicest moisturizing soaps I've ever used. It has a gentle fragrance (which unfortunately my wife finds somewhat too masculine), lathers beautifully, and lasts a very long time. Some comments suggest that it's expensive, but it really isn't considering that it lasts as long as it does. It takes perhaps two or three showers before the block softens around the edges, so don't drop it until then because it is heavy and not easy to handle given its shape.

Me encanta que siento que cada que lo uso me limpia muy bien, estaba teniendo problemas con mi cuero cabelludo y se siente mucho mejor, además llego con un guante de regalo y lo he estado usando, lo siento mucho mejor que los de zacate o que las esponjas de materiales artificiales, también se siente que limpia

Love this soap, I have sensitive skin and have always hade a problem finding a soap that doesn't cause break outs. Nice size bars and it last a long time.

Le prix est abordable. Ils sont très utiles partout, le corps, les cheveux et même comme savon de ménage. J'en fais bon usage!
