Basic Life Support (BLS)

Unlike other manuals out there, this one is easy to read. The pointers are given out as simplified chunks of information that are easy to digest and apply. I would recommend this book for everyone. I mean, you could save a life if you knew these basic steps. The language used is adequate for a layperson. No need to know big terms.Cons:I do not like the amount of spamming the book has after each chapter. I suggest to the publisher to stop promoting their app as you read along. It's disturbing. I found a few typos. Nothing major, like "server" instead of "severe" in two of the last tables depicting choke and ventilation.

With only one day prior to my class, I needed the textbook. I was so happy to see the Kindle version.The information is straightforward and contrasts the current changes in guidelines. It also explains the differences amongst pediatric and adult patients.Algorithms are also shown in the chart format. It took less than 30" to read and remember everything.Highly recommend as a reference, those renewing their certification, and for those taking this for the first time.

Easily understandable. Good for a quick review before testing I like that it's on my kindle so I won't lose it or have to look for my book.

I'm a practitioner myself. I found this easy to navigate (the ebook version and text to speech is also convenient), easy to understand and not redundant. This is an excellent reference book for those who need review, as well as a great study for those who are encountering this material for the first time. I highly recommend this book and have it loaded and ready to go on my tablet.

This manual is an excellent guide to the BLS provider course. For the price it is a great bargain. I had no problems with navigating the book and quickly finding the information that I needed to review. I was able to review this manual and succussfully pass my BLS exam on the first attempt. I really appreciate the ability to quickly access the information quickly and easily.

I purchased this, along with the PALS and ACLS book to prepare for my certification classes.This book helped me pass my BLS class quick!The information was easy to understand, the pictures were helpful and searching in the text for key points was simple.Sometimes you just want a quick go-to...This is the best BLS book I have in my library.

I realized my BLS card was about to expire. I had to not only review but take a BLS course. I ordered this book which was a fantastic summary for infants through adults. The questions at the end of each chapter were helpful. Would definitely recommend for a quick review.
