Mcoplus A9/A7III L Bracket Metal Hand Grip Stabilizer(Removable Slide Plate) Compatible with Sony A9 A7III A73 Arca RRS for Video

I thought the extended base plate would be helpful but the base doesn't follow the outline of the hand grip on the right-hand side and sticks out beyond the hand grip of the camera. Also, on the vertical portion, since there is no space machined in to provide clearance for the camera strap ring, the vertical plate cannot be set flush with the camera body. See photos.

This L-bracket fits the Sony A7III and A9 perfectly. There is no need to remove the battery door. The vertical arm is adjustable so that there is room to plug in your intervalometer without any interference from the arm. I have gone through several L-brackets that were supposed to work, but all of them were of no use and were returned. This L-bracket works perfectly and is less expensive than all the others.

Product is compact, light and seems sturdy. However, the bottom part of the grip where the pinky rests and curls around sticks out too much. Do not recommend. I will give Smallrig or something else similar a try instead.
