A collection of four programmes containing all you need to become a Master Tap dancer presented by Susan Bishop. In the first programme she starts with walking and stomping and then goes through a series of ten easy lessons, suitable for beginners. In the second programme Susan takes us on a more advanced stage in the tap dancing process. There are steps from famous Fred Astaire musicals, plus traditional numbers, with lots of rhythm and stylish feet movements. There are also some lessons on tap dancing without music. The third programme demonstrates a variety of timesteps, from the quite basic to very advanced, whilst the fourth programme concentrates on rhythm. Basic steps can be used when experimenting with missing beats, speeding up and slowing down the rhythm, as well as using repeating patterns in fun and original ways.

can be both amusing and annoying in its style
Old fashioned, can be both amusing and annoying in its style, but a good way to learn the steps - easier than trying to follow a book

Tap dancing
Very disappointed - rather old fashioned. O.K. for real beginners. (Have returned to tap dancing for the last 7 years and wanted something to dance along to.) Will look on line for something more suitable.

tap dancing
not exactly what i wanted, goes a little to quick when showing steps and moves on too quickly from one thing to the next.

THE BEST
I like how it breaks down the steps and explains them, very good dvd to buy

Two Stars
It serves its purpose. The recording would be from the 80’s so not the clearest quality

Not for real beginners
I have just started tap classes and wanted to get ahead of the bunch. I didn't find this really helpful as it skimmed over the very basic steps.

not recommended as start cd
not for first beginners as they don't even bother to do it very slow for you in front and close up or at least closer to the feets ,and like a other reviewer says its really dated . don't like it at all. waist of money
