Drive Medical 13033 Economy IV Pole, Chrome

What a great purchase, and glad I bought it! I knew I needed an IV pole, but wanted one that was good, but not too expensive- and this is it. My cat is on fluids every day, and he likes to go from room to room when I try to give him his fluids. I can transport this easily to follow him, it rolls smoothly, it’s very steady. Legs are wide enough to be well grounded, but not so wide to be intrusive, and designed with a downward curve for stability. And I no longer have to hang the bag on the curtain rod and roll up the tubing between fluid administrations. 😺 The flow is better than ever, and works more quickly and efficiently now, as the bag is gravity fed, and it hangs straight. Adjustable height gives me even more options, I set the height I want, twist and it stays tight. I’m really happy with this! Sturdy, well made and easy to assemble, its made my life so much easier. Securely packaged and lightning fast shipping too- it was here within less than 2 days!

Most people who are going to be buying these IV poles, are going to be medical staff or hospital/clinic administrators. This is because the main purpose of this device, is to hold IV bags for patience. Since its on wheels, makes it very portable. The bottom base, pole, and hooks at the top are very durable, surprisingly sturdy. And the height is adjustable from 47-inches to 82-inches, so it more then likely will work for any medical related job that is needed.However, what I needed this for, was for my Dremel tool. Thats right, you heard me right, I am using a medical IV pole for a power tool. So why would I do this? Well, when your using the Flex Shaft attachment for the Dremel tool, the tool must hang from something. Most people would set theirs up for stationary use, and wouldn't need portability. Since I want to be able to use my Dremel just about anywhere, I felt that a medical IV pole on wheels would be my best choice.Additionally, having the ability to adjust the height of the pole, allows me to conveniently adjust the height I need for the workspace I am using. This IV pole can handle a lot of weight, I am actually really impressed by that, and it handles the 2-pounds from the tool perfectly fine without issue. In my humble opinion, this portable IV pole makes for the best possible solution for your Dremel tool. I highly recommend this unit 5 out of 5 stars!

I used this to hold a 2 1/2 gallon bag of water for a bed bath with a portable bathtub. It was necessary that it be sturdy enough, while the bag was high enough to work efficiently. It worked great for me. Easy to assemble. Not too expensive. I would recommend.

I bought this IV pole to hang a cryocuff I will be using for recovery from a surgery that I am having. I am quite pleased with it. It has a nice solid, sturdy feel. This, however, makes it heavier than you would expect, which is good. Assembly is very easy and the wheels roll smoothly, even on carpet. You do have to be careful when adjusting the height. Because of its weight, once you loosen the lock collar, the top post will immediately drop if you are not holding on to it.

This pole worked great for the first few times then the pole would not stand up. Could not adjust the height of the pole because the screw broke. Useless and can’t get a refund.

I like the overall design and value for the money for this IV pole; however the statement "Easily converted to 2 or 4 hook with easy to release push pin." made me believe it would come WITH a two or four hook, which it did NOT. The two hook is what I got, and I am mostly happy with the product.

Very sturdy IV pole! Nice heavy construction. It's exactly as pictured, with 2 hooks(not 4 as the item description suggests, but I only need 2)Assembly is straightforward and the required tool is included in the kit. Height is easy to adjust and not finicky at all. This is the cheapest IV pole I have been able to find in Canada, but the quality is just as high as the ones at the hospital.My cat gets subcutaneous fluids daily so this makes things much easier!
