Excellent Quality--Worth Every Penny
I held off on buying these curtains for a while because I was looking for some that were machine washable since I have many indoor rescue cats. I wasn't able to find any others with the color choices HPD offers, so I finally decided to order these and test wash one panel. **NOTE: I completely took responsibility for doing this on my own since the company explicitly states that they are Dry Clean Only. I figured if I ruined one panel, it would be my loss and I could afford to lose the $54 on it. The company recommends dry cleaning for a reason, and I understand that. If you choose to this, the company will not--and should not--allow you to return it.**I test washed one panel in cold water on gentle cycle using a gentle detergent (I have a top-load washing machine) and then tumble dried it on low. It came out beautiful with no shrinkage or color loss. I then successfully washed the remaining panels after carefully measuring each one before doing so to see if the subsequent panels would experience any shrinkage--none did. I must note here that I purchased the 50" x 96" panels and EVERY one of them was actually 49" wide out of package, though they were all spot on 96" long. I was fine with the shorter width, but just think you should be aware of this before purchasing them. I went with the 50" width instead of 100" because of my plans to wash them, so I needed these to be manageable since they are pretty heavy. They hang beautifully and are extremely well made. I say this because I actually went back and bought additional shorter panels to make matching blackout curtains for the french doors in the same room to create a home theater atmosphere. I had to deconstruct them to do this, of course, and I was quite impressed with the quality of the fabric, stitching, and construction. One added bonus of hanging these curtains was noticeably improved sound quality in the room; they actually insulate the room from outside noise. I wholeheartedly recommend buying these. If you're on the fence about it like I was because they are "Dry Clean Only" and you can afford to lose a little money to test wash a panel, I recommend giving it a shot.

Not blackout, just thick curtains
The curtains are heavy and thick, but definitely not blackout curtains. I chose the off-white color. Attached to my review is a photo. The curtains on the side are cheap ikea curtains. The panel in the center is the blackout curtain. Maybe if you had enough to overlap itself, the bunching would block out the light, but that requires 4 curtain panels for a standard window. At $60 for each panel, I cant justify that. However, if you just want velvet curtains, these curtains are of seemingly decent quality upon unwrapping. It only comes with one panel, so be sure to order 2 per window.

Amazing!!!
Absolutely gorgeous. I bought the hunter green color because it was on sale for $30 per panel for the 120” size. For this price, my expectations were certainly not high, especially considering other similar velvet curtains were well over $100 per panel. However, upon receiving them I was blown away! They are super thick and luxurious, very good and blocking the light, and also, zero creases from being packaged and folded so I didn’t even have to steam them! I love them so much and will definitely be purchasing other colors!

Can't beat the quality for the price but beware of color variation in different sizes....
I have 16 ft ceilings with double French doors leading to the balcony in my master bedroom. I wanted to go a little more neutral from the custom drapes the previous owners left. I had almost accepted my fate that I would have to spend a small fortune on Restoration Hardware/Potterybarn drapes or a large fortune on custom drapes to replace them. I came across these and decided to try four of the doublewide 100x120 and I am so happy I did. The shipping was incredibly fast and these drapes look and feel fantastic. The off-white color is a very cool off-white with a grayish tone, perfect for my needs (picture attached - not the best lighting so look slightly darker than they really are). My only reason for 4 stars is once I finally had the time and help to get these hung, I decided to move forward with replacing the drapes on an adjacent window, which is a regular size window which only needs two 50x120 panels. I ordered the 50x120 in off-white just recently (super fast shipping once again) and they are not the same color at all (picture attached). The 50x120 are almost pure white. A nice color, but don't match what I have. I messaged Half Price Drapes to see if it was maybe a mistake and was told that because of the size difference I will see a color variation. I get a slight color variation is possible but this is not a variation; it's completely different. I also don't understand this explanation because as mentioned in other reviews, the doublewide are just two regular width sewn together (seam is hardly noticeable and doesn't bother me in the slightest), but the only resolution offered was to return the regular width, at my expense, and order one of the doublewide panels (whenever they come back in stock, hopefully late May) and they should be a match to the drapes I am so happy with. So moral of the story, these are GREAT drapes for the price and I completely recommend them, but beware that if you have different window sizes and need to order different widths, they may not be the same color.

Color wasn’t what I expected
I bought the off white and before I bought it I thought it looked more white online than it does in person. This wasn’t a big deal for me because they work perfect for our room. But that would be the only thing to be mindful of if you’re thinking that color; they definitely have a more cream vibe. Compared to my true white bedspread you can kind of see the difference in the attached photo.

Only ONE curtain so not half price - if you get half the product!
Ridiculous to sell as SINGLE curtain and not make that clearer! Thought I was getting a pair! One curtain is useless, so they aren't half price, if you only get one, and then by the time you realize the price has quadrupled! What a rip off! Also, these are not velvet, they are more like a thick suedette.Very unimpressed. Will be returning!

Colour is not as expected
These drapes are quite heavy and soft. Unfortunately as I have found with most other drapes I have ordered from this company, I will have to return them because the colour is not as depicted online. The ivory has a beige/ orange tone to it and does definitely not go with my ivory living room.

Excellent quality but the color wasn’t as pictured
Excellent quality fabric and excellent quality workmanship. I ordered the “Neutral Ground” color. Based on the pictures, it looked like exactly the color I needed, but when it arrived the color was ecru, much more beige-like than the photos suggested.

Great value; amazing quality for the price
These are great quality for the price. They are heavy and hang beautifully. I purchased the 96” length and they are perfect when hung close to the ceiling; they puddle nicely on the floor. They also block out all the light. I’m very happy with these curtains and would recommend.
