AlelmaAlonissos Tuna Paste 212 g (Pack of 3) - MERCURY FREE

It's interesting that the price for the 3 jars I bought was £4.91 and they are now more than £7. I suspect this has something to do with packaging. The three jars were wrapped together in bubblewrap. However, there was a distinctly fishy smell and there was evidence visible through the bubblewrap of leakage. When the bubblewrap was opened it was clear that the tops of two of the jars had come off. Disaster. Two of the three jars just couldn't be used. I'm wondering whether the third one, which looks OK, will actually be usable.

I have just returned from a week long holiday on the Greek island of Alonissoss and the tuna there is the very best taste and quality ever. It is about 7 euros for a small jar of tuna chunks on the island, so this tuna paste is reasonably priced. I ordered a few jars online to arrive when I was back home, to give as holiday gifts, to save me bringing glass jars home direct in my luggage.

2 from 3 ordered jars arrived open and with really awful smell! I am questioning quality of this product.......not surprise now you can't return it!!! 1* only because there is no other option

Great taste - extra virgin olive oil makes the difference. Perfect base for tuna pasta sauce or vitello tonnato.

None of the 3 jars of tuna were eatable. Even though the box was not showing any signs of exterior damage, One jar was broken on arrival and the seal from the other 2 had broken making them impossible to eat. Very disappointing.

All the 3 jugs were opened with oil spilled everywhere
